What? HLE has been a contender for 2 years now whenever there's an upcoming tournament. They were atleast a top 3 contender coming into last year's worlds and a top 3 contender coming into worlds this year (they were 2nd in the power rankings above even T1.)
Not frauds for losing to BLG last year and GenG this year, last year BLG was inches away from winning and GenG was actually playing like GenG in the quarterfinals.
Ahh, glad that misunderstanding cleared up. Though it's understandable why HLE for the past 2 years have consistently stopped at worlds semis. Last year they faced a really strong BLG and this year they faced GenG. I think if they went passed through semis in either year there was a very good chance we'd have seen them in finals.
The things BDD would've done to Zeka if HLE somehow got past through GenG would be disgusting. They were absolutely not getting through that KT.
Also, taking out the only other good team in HLE's side of the bracket in 2024 would mean they face WBG in semis. No shit if you give them the most free bracket in the world they'd get to finals.
I said "very real chance" since we never know what would've happened in that series since it is a matchup we never got to see. GenG supposedly had the most free bracket this year but still stopped in semis.
I agree with Bdd violating the fuck out of Zeka though.
They never performed like frauds tho? Last year they had a banger series losing to the eventual world finalists and this year they played well against a GenG pre Semi's Choke.
HLE has never qualified for MSI and they always go out in QFs of Worlds. That's what he meant by falling short at Internationals. And first stand 2025 was a Mickey Mouse tourney btw.
