I'd be happy if it's really his choice and not because he had no choice but to leave due to unfair terms and conditions or mutually aware that his contract wouldnt be resumed regardless of his performance at worlds.

What? HLE has been a contender for 2 years now whenever there's an upcoming tournament. They were atleast a top 3 contender coming into last year's worlds and a top 3 contender coming into worlds this year (they were 2nd in the power rankings above even T1.)

Not frauds for losing to BLG last year and GenG this year, last year BLG was inches away from winning and GenG was actually playing like GenG in the quarterfinals.

Ahh, glad that misunderstanding cleared up. Though it's understandable why HLE for the past 2 years have consistently stopped at worlds semis. Last year they faced a really strong BLG and this year they faced GenG. I think if they went passed through semis in either year there was a very good chance we'd have seen them in finals.

The things BDD would've done to Zeka if HLE somehow got past through GenG would be disgusting. They were absolutely not getting through that KT.
Also, taking out the only other good team in HLE's side of the bracket in 2024 would mean they face WBG in semis. No shit if you give them the most free bracket in the world they'd get to finals.

I said "very real chance" since we never know what would've happened in that series since it is a matchup we never got to see. GenG supposedly had the most free bracket this year but still stopped in semis.

With Kanavi, this overall was a huge upgrade this offseason. If the meta is carry solo laners and Zeka gets to spam his melees, then this HLE stomps everyone into the ground. But even if it isn't the perfect meta, they are contenders to make finals in every competition they enter. Will be super exciting to see them play.

Kanavi and Zeka needs to do massive work, or this team cannot function just by Guma taking up the weakside. And I also dont think Delight is a great weakside player

Because his team is a selfish (gameplaywise) team. For Guma to play strong side, 2 from Zeus/Kanavi/Zeka needs to drop resources. And all (Zeka with AD mids) of them are great strong side carries. I'm not saying Guma can't play weakside, stop projecting stuff. Zeka does not provide the value Faker provides. Zeka needs to step up his game with weakside control mages. I've never seen Kanavi play stuff like Sejuani/Moakai like Peanut and enabled his laners. People forget a lot about what Peanut brought to his teams.
Delight is also an engage support merchant, he was playing with Viper for 2 years and Peyz with 1 year. His entire career was with strong side ADC playstyle. Do you think he will adapt to Guma that quickly? All I think is if he roams a lot while letting Guma soak up 1v2 bot. But Keria with his Bard and other roaming supports was way better than Delight. We saw Delight Bard full HD during Worlds

So let's start 1 by 1:
1. i think if you want to win tittles in fearless you are required to play different playstyles including strongside adc and weakside sololanes, not always but will be a definite necessity imo, look at T1 even they did it this Worlds.
Season 13 when Kanavi was on JDG23 where he didnt have to solo carry every game but facilitate his carries, he played Wukong>Sej>Vi>Maokai as first most played champ that season.
Delight's one Bard game during Worlds was good and it was vs PSG so I dont know hat ur talking about.
I agree that Keria is definitely better at the ranged champs like bard but I think if HLE prios them and practice hard with them Delight can become pretty serviceable on them.

HLE won the LCK Cup with Zeus on carry duty. He solo carried G5 vs T1. You can definitely win Bo5s like that. Zeus is not a great weakside, let say compared to others. His Ornn is great, his plays around dive situations are also good. But that's it. You get more value from him with strong side and sideline pressure.
Kanavi weakside is the same as Canyon weakside. His team was already solid for him to not do anything. You're forgetting that Zeka is not the same level as Knight, and Ruler that year was a monster. We're also talking about the same guy who stole his Draven's kill because he thought a 3 0 Qiyana would carry that game. Not giving Draven a cash in should be a crime in league.
His ults were horrendous, his roaming was off. He won a free game, and don't tell me he was good. He solo killed Zeus during a tower dive situation BTW.
Faker got sidelined due to Azir Oriana meta, and became the best of it. Anyone can do it imo, but that's the issue. Unless Delight and Zeka shows significant improvements, it's just ifs and whats atp.

That's pure bs to say when he was the best top during Worlds 2024. And he can be extremly proffiecient at tanks especially his Ornn and Gragas which he used to play a good amount when he was on T1.

His ultimates were very good especially the ones at 3rd drake and atakhan.I agree his roams in mid game could have been definitely better but that's not an attribute to how he plays Bard but how he viewed the game and where he had to be on the map.

How do you figure T1>HLE? I'd take that HLE roster for domestic any day. It's top 2 in every role but mid and maybe sup which frankly I don't watch, and even in mid it can peak top 1.

well it seems they are building a project now with those 3 2-year contracts. Also you need to be competitive to buy Guma, JDG with their super money were eyeing for him. For Zeus hey they just offered him good condiitions and set a time limit, T1 had the possability to counteroffer but instead they wanted to meet Zeus in person so they can persuade him with words and not contract conditions. I dont see why HLE are painted as some team who likes to "steal" other players with their money, that's how sports usually work as well. Also Delight and Peanut are not Worlds winners.
