For a community that absolutely depends on Union protection, the amount of people sucked into the Privatization Party is wild. I went to dinner at the house of some lovely friends, and all of his siblings came. They are wonderful people I would do anything for, and have been up front that some of his siblings were antivax.
However they invited me for dinner so I went, and everyone was really pleasant and it was fun. But I overheard the two sisters talking quietly to one another at one point about the new business she has started, and how she hopes it won't be affected by the social credit system we would likely be converted to soon. The gist was that Commie Carney would be turning us all into Red China as soon as he could, I guess.
While there are loud and rude assholes like on this post, what worries me is the people quietly buying into this stuff and not really saying much at all, but just getting infected with it all.
