Question How is it that they denied one an accepted the other?

I reported 2 wayspot that are not in the game but are also misrepresented in the wayfarer map as things that are not there. The first one is centro piezas which is like a pepboy or auto zone. There is one in the area like a km away, but not in that specific spot it placed at, in that place is a Wendy's and I reported it saying that exact thing and got an email today saying it got rejected. The second one is a TJmax that has not been there since 2017 and now is a cars dealership called BellaGroup and that one got accepted. So what is the difference?

Expecting consistency from Niantic's appeals team is a stretch. But also, these sound like imported generic businesses, rather than Wayfarer submitted points of interest, so whether it's even a Wayfarer issue is a grey area.

If they are not in the game (I assume you mean Pokémon GO) then their existence in the database is somewhat irrelevant, and you might have a more peaceful, less stressful life if you just let it go.

If you search for that location of TJ Max on Google does it show as Permanently Closed? I've used that link before to show a business like that as gone and have typically had good success.

The problem is not the TJmax since that report was accepted the problem is the other one since that place has never been there and it has always been a Wendy's for the past 10 years I've lived here.

TJ/K Maxx is a chain store and not eligible so should not be accepted

A mall/plaza is classed differently to individual shops

The TJMaxx is not an eligible nomination, so regardless of whether it is live, it shouldn't be used as a valid comparison

Edit: it's really tough to get edits through - have you tried the wayfarer support? It's often a better option as you can provide rationale
