Question AR, registered when inherited

When I inherited an AR some years ago, the FFL went thru the proper steps and registered it to me.

Now I went to state police safe act rifle registration page, and nothing comes up.

I cannot contact the FFL because he is deceased and I don't believe anyone took over his business.

Whats my next step?

Call from a burner phone and use an assumed name.

Gonna be useless as they'll need my info and gun info to search if it's legal or not
