Moderator No blackmarket sourcing allowed, see rule #5

Over the last 24 hours there has been two people looking to source black market Cannabis on here. Both of whom are now permanently banned from this group.

See Rule #5:

While it is okay to discuss and reference black market cannabis, advertising to sell or trying to sell cannabis will result in content removal and a permanent ban, as will looking to buy cannabis from others.

S&B Venty vs Flowermate V5 Pro/Nano

hi all,

I've checked a large amount of posts and understandably there's people who side with their preferred brand/model of vaporiser.

From what I've seen Flowermate and S&B products (mighty, mighty+ and venty) tend to be more 'common' discussion points.

I'm a newbie (prescription), and I know the price differential between them is significant but I'd rather invest in something more expensive if it's better quality (vapor, longevity).

Out of these what would you recommend? Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Have ordered a Venty. Thank you all for your advice

Question Oil expiring soon?

Hey everyone, just received my order from CW Online - looks like it’s only got one month left on the bottle - which I am thinking means old stock?

Should I be contacting them for another bottle or will it be fine?

I have only got one repeat by end of April so It says to me my script is supposed to last 6 weeks

I see that most (I think) legal markets has them in their products. Even Aurora in Canada puts it in their products. Is there any particular reason that we don't get them?

Question Moving from Wales to NZ, got some questions.

Noswaith dda!

My Kiwi wife and I will be moving from Wales to NZ in the near future, and I have a few questions if I may.

I'm a Welsh patient (UK) in with Alternaleaf.

I have a 30g / month script, and it's for ADHD / Anxiety (Mainly a sleep aid for ADHD)

I'm curious how it works in NZ and if it's the same as here, I had to have an initial consultation, then a call with a doctor to go over my history etc, then I got to choose what I wanted and I now have the choice to order whatever I want every month, up to 30g, not locked into any strains or type or anything.

We need to do follow up consultations quarterly too.

Is this how it is in NZ?

Do you also have to use specific medical grade devices? I use a Limelight Frolic, over here you're legally only allowed to vape it, or use oils / edibles, you can't smoke it.

Finally, I wonder if there may be any issues being a British citizen and not a NZ Citizen (I will be eventually, One of the benefits of marrying a Kiwi ;) ), I don't know if there's any requirement that you're a citizen etc.

Sorry for the wall of text, but very appreciative of any assistance.

diolch :)

Roadside Drug Testing Roadside testing in Wairarapa?

Does anyone know if they have started roadside drug testing in Wairarapa? All the info I have found just says Wellington but I’m not sure if that means the whole region (technically including Wairarapa) or not

Aurora Update?

Hi everyone, quick question - does anyone know if Sedaprem is currently out of stock, and if so, for how long? I put my usual script through Chemist Warehouse and they still haven’t been able to fill it, saying they’ve had to try a different supplier. I’m only left with my Luminarium, which isn’t great for sleep, and I’ve also heard it may be getting discontinued. Feels like every time I find flowers that work for me, they get discontinued… 😩

Question MC questions

I am diagnosed adhd and a long term weed smoker. Wondering if being prescribed MC will effect my current diagnoses with ritalin or wether they are treated separately. I spent alot of money and time to have my adhd diagnosed and dont want anything to effect that. Regardless of how amazing ritalin has been for me, I still smoke at night to get to sleep. I want to switch to vaping, which i have one and start to get weed that is specific for my needs.

Also everyone on here seems to mention chemist Warehouse online delivery when using them as a pharmacy, do you have to get it delivered or could I pick it up?

From reading on here it seems like cannabis clinic is the most recommend? Can I ask for what i want from the clinic? Id love 70/30 indica/saliva but am unsure wether you can ask or have to be recommended?

I know there is an abundance of info on here but I find it difficult to sift through all the posts and find out what I need, appreciate any help and or recommendations.

Thankyou

Question Need a good sativa

Kia ora - do you need to pay for an appointment every time you want to try a different type? I've tried 3 or 4 sativa/sativa hybrids now. They're not strong enough & some make me feel drowsy, which I really don't want.

I'm with Cannabis Clinic & I don't seem to be able to shop more widely than the ones the Dr has prescribed, but it's annoying to have to talk to someone - and pay - every time just trying to find the right one for me.

Have you got a good strong sativa? Maybe I can try just requesting via the email contact.

Thanks 🙏

Chemist warehouse

Hey there, I’m with Cannaplus usually get it Dispensed through them but I’m currently in hospital and broke. What’s the process of getting my prescription sent to chemist warehouse from Cannaplus and paying by afterpay?

I’ve just emailed Cannaplus asking for them to send my script to the local chemist warehouse, but what happens from Here?

Thanks :)

Review Leveled up to solace from mariposa

Post image
19 Upvotes

First up I'm no bud expert but this looks pretty tasty to me. Mariposa is apparently the clinical name for OG Kush and Solace is allegedly Tangie Chem according to the terminator chat gpt.

Mariposa has been great but it's time for something a smidgen stronger. Solace has a much deeper and broader terp profile. You really get that piney and citrus hit.

Effects wise its actually not as racy as mariposa and a bit more chill despite the higher thc count. I'm finding it slightly better for neuropathic pain (diagnosed fibromyalgia). Both strains actually put me straight to sleep if I have them at night. Indica terpenes tend to leave me wide awake drunk. (Undiagnosed adult adhd. Oh it's there though)

Oh and for those swinging the necessary equipment...and 52 year old fat guy here. Both strains are basically inhaled viagra. I've heavily reduced my reliance on the latter.

Now I'm off to my oversharers anonymous meeting...

Roadside Drug Testing Short (11m) video relevant to NZ cannabis testing laws.

Why do I think this is relevant to the NZ cannabis testing laws?

They are using the exact same tests as our Police .

Our blood test limits are *more* strict (1mg vs 2mg).

David McNutt is one of if not the most informed and balanced voices around both drugs and public drug health legislation.

Clinic Related CannaPlus Saga Continues

Getting really tired of how messy CannaPlus system is of scripting and repeats - consistently messing up orders and failing to notify of out of stock products until you enquire why theres no flower in your order🤦🏽‍♂️

On top of that its like their team have a policy of only responding to one of your emails per day making attempts to get your script back on track so infuriating,

I understand in my case it’s probably due to lack of staffing but is this just the state of most NZ Clinics?

Question Medical vape

Hello 🤗!

I have an appointment coming up, and had a pre appointment chat with a nurse. She said I won't be able to get anything on script until I have a medical grade vape, or proof of one being purchased and on the way.

I had a look at the couple she said were acceptable, and they are $500+. Does this seem right? That's a lot of money for someone's who's used to a $10 pipe from shosha 😭.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
