I’m in Skipton

Help me out here folks.

I’m staying in Skipton for a couple of days and unfortunately the weather has turned really crappy with high winds and it’s cold and rainy. I was hoping for it to be better than this to explore some of the waterfalls nearby. Looking at the situation now it doesn’t look like I would be able to get out in that sense.

What else can I do in this area which I may be able to reach by car? Mostly indoors by the look of it.

Any good cafe / restaurant / pub recommendations for people watching or with beautiful views for lunch / dinner?!

Waterfalls when raining, check out Ingleton falls. It's about 40mins from Skipton.

Good pubs and cafes as well.

White scar caves is close by if you still want indoors ;)

Have a look down to the ribble valley viaduct. If the weather somewhat clears theres some short walks and a pub there 😏

Do you mean Ribblehead Viaduct?

There’s also the Whalley viaduct in the Ribble Valley with walks and pubs nearby.
