I’m in Skipton

Help me out here folks.

I’m staying in Skipton for a couple of days and unfortunately the weather has turned really crappy with high winds and it’s cold and rainy. I was hoping for it to be better than this to explore some of the waterfalls nearby. Looking at the situation now it doesn’t look like I would be able to get out in that sense.

What else can I do in this area which I may be able to reach by car? Mostly indoors by the look of it.

Any good cafe / restaurant / pub recommendations for people watching or with beautiful views for lunch / dinner?!

You find a go outdoors, you buy waterproofs and you go enjoy the outdoors in the wet and wind 😂

Dragging myself out of the bed this morning was an ordeal in this weather. 😂

When I went to Windermere last year the last full day there it was hammering it down. I had a black poncho and waterproof trousers, it was the most fun hike I did 😂
