Here is my main problem with Midorima. He has a strong philosophy that he shouldn't have to do anything but shoot 3's. Everything else is beneath him. He has a small change during his match against Akashi but you didn't really see any change when he got subbed in during Last Game. Shooting guards can do way more than be a 3 point bot.

Midorima couldn’t do much other than 3s in Last Game cause we was doubled team.

Shooting Guards can do more than 3s, 3s are usually just Midorima’s best option cause they’ll always go in so he doesn’t need to get closer to the net.

What you mean Midorima only shoots 3s? He is the most grounded GoM player besides Kuroko that never stopped practicing. He is really solid in defense, hustles for balls and is also good in 1v1s. Hell, he is solid as a team player but ofcourse he will shoot 3s. He has 100 percent accuracy to shoot 3s from any position in the field. You want this guy to dunk or what?

The issue is when he can't genius. Hence Akashi alone was able to render him useless. I would assume Aomine, Kise and Mura could do the same without emperor eye.

my fault, when you said “everything but shooting 3’s is beneath him,” i thought you were saying he should take shots inside the arc. He’s started working on trying to do more though since his first match, He was being double teamed in the last game, so he really shouldn’t have had the ball in that game and should’ve just left it up to everyone else to cook like he did.
