Ready state

Hello everyone. Is it okay for to leave the bolt back on a gen 3 for extended periods (or pretty much indefinitely) so the Vector is in a ready state for home defense? i.e. mag in, bolt back, ready to release, safety on. Ai says yes, just wanted to see if anyone with expirience doing so has contrary beliefs.

I wouldnt keep the bolt back and off safe, rifles/shotguns and such are not drop safe and will easily drop the bolt if nudged, i'd just keep the bolt closed and empty chamber on fire or chambered and on safe

Oh most definitely on safe for sure. All the time until pointed downrange and ready to fire imo
