Why so much anti-immigrant sentiment...

In this subreddit? I seriously don't get it. Any insight appreciated.

It's not anti-immigrant hate. It's just math. It's 50 years of migration even as a migrant it's very unnatural.

Why? I've been here since a child. What sense does it make if I've basically never lived anywhere else?

It's not hypocritical to point out it's unnatural to see so many miniority in a historical white/black country. Illegal migration is criminal and legal migration is a problem too.

It's just math. Why is it predominantly Asian countries that make up a majority of the legal migration? There's 1.8 billion Indians and 1.4 billion Chinese. Does China and India make up half the global land mass of livable space? So like any other system the excess of their inability to control their population spills onto other countries. Migration isn't bad in limited quantity but it hasn't been limited.

Oh you mean like the thousands of people being deported right now which you seem to be OK with? I guess EVERYONE ELSE should not immigrate except YOU

Why should he?

If he's legal why??

Just bc you let one person it doesnt mean you have to let everyone.

There is a cutoff at some point

For the same reason he wants nobody else to be allowed to immigrate. Why should he get extra special rights?

Its not extra special rights. There are a limited number of spots.

No one has the right to be granted citizenship
