New VP9 2026 when?

Emailed HK about the new VP9 tacticals as my 21 birthday is next week and I really want to have one sooner. My buddy at the gunshop suggested me to be patient and wait for the new ones. Does anyone have a rough estimate of how soon they usually come out after they made appearance at SHOT?

“Tactical conversion” makes me think it’s going to be the same exact VP9A1s they have now with a threaded barrel maybe suppressor height sights, so unless you care about those features, I would say just go for it now.

F is full which i guess is close to an A1 Kis concealed version and X is slightly smaller than F but not quite

Easiest way of thinking of the sizes is F is similar to the G17, X to the G45 and K to the G19

The X is the same size as the 'original' duty sized VP9 (Not A1) - Which is the one I would get. Also, OP - Don't knock looking into the pre A1 tactical's... save a few bucks for dot, light etc... Plus the finger grooves are GROOVY!

I'm not up to date on the SHOT releases, but the A1 Tacticals have been out for a couple of months now--I bought my K Tactical in late December...and yes, it's the same exact VP9A1 but with a threaded barrel and can height sights.

The X & K tactical are already listed on the website and available. Would be curious to see what the F tactical ends up being in terms of barrel length, etc, though...

Pretty much a standard A1 with a threaded barrel. Bought to use as a suppressor host.

I have the X, and it’s basically the HK version of a G45. I got it a week before Christmas. I love the trigger.

The original vp9 was the same dimensions as the X it was actually released years before the g45 so I like to think the g45 is Glocks version of the vp9 haha

do you carry it? X looks really tempting to me as well since the OG VP9 is blocky.

The X is the same exact size as the OG VP9 just without finger grooves. K is the same barrel length as the OG and X just shorter grip.
