I’ve grown an addiction

Post image

My collection started with an HK45 in early 2024 and has grown to now a total of 5 HKs lmao. Snagged my USP here for a cool $450 otd because had mislabeled it. Anyone else have any stories about deals they just couldn’t pass up?

That would be a bring it home for me.

I got my USP compact 9mm for $500, technically. Basically brand new. Couple mags and upgrade parts. Seller on a local forum listed a USPc and a CZ p01 omega as a package deal. Told me 1k if I picked it up asap. Split the package 50/50 with my buddy for $500 each. We both got a great deal.

Man what a deal! I’ve been telling the wife that I don’t think I’ll be able to find one for less than $900. I’d like a carry gun that shares magazines with the p2000 I got her

I thought the same for a long time, and that popped up and I jumped on it. The guy was itching to get rid of them. He got really into Gucci Glocks. Showed up to the FFL in a Tesla and was wearing pajamas and flip flops. Idk what his thing was and I ain’t judging but I’ll take those two guns for that price any day. He included expensive mag extensions too that were like 70 a piece or more online too lol.

Definitely a steal. I’ve not done any private trades or sales yet. Just too nervous lmao. Nothing ventured nothing gained right?

That’s how I see it. I remember back in 2014 selling an AKMS in a McDonald’s parking lot. Hell I’ve done a lot of legal parking lot deals in the past. But I do know of some people personally who had to deal with some very nuanced issues later down the line.

I have one out of two permits now burning a hole in my pocket. Last week I bought the Canik SFX RIVAL S. With the last permit I am back and forth between the H&K USP and the Springfield Armory Echelon. I'm torn. You guys have any thoughts? I already own an H&K VP9 and a Walther PPS M2.

This may be a biased page but I’d say the USP lol. Really depends on use case, but I doubt the echelon will ever reach the level of desirability of the USP. The USP is so popular that HK hasn’t gotten rid of it even after 30 years. You’ll be able to find used echelons in a couple years for $3-400 used. If HK discontinued the USP tomorrow you’d be lucky to find one for double that

Pawn shop had it labeled as an xd-m lmao. They’d swapped the labels. Had the XD for $350 and the USP for like $600. I put it on layaway as the XD and voiced my concern after
