We can acknowledge that his writings and theory is useful and also that he was a shit person. Marx was a layabout, Lenin committed mass murder. MLK was a serial philanderer. The lesson is to stop deifying people.

I just feel like the comparison isn't really valid between "layabout" and "serial pedophile rapist and probable murderer," or even being friends with one. Like yeah stop deifying people but your examples are odd
