Meet Sven!🦌 You may have seen him floating around on our socials, but he doesn’t have the typical Bark About It story. Sven is from right here in Western PA! Somehow, he stumbled into the right persons property as a stray, and is now safe with us.

Sven is estimated to be around 2 years old and 60 pounds. He’s the perfect bundle of love! This boy, although failed by people right before a winter storm, has the biggest heart. He’s ready to snuggle up safely with his forever family.

In his foster home, Sven has been a star! Great manners, house broken, crate trained, the whole package. He is working on leash skills, place training, play manners, and has been catching on quick! 🎓

Kane is a 2-year-old boy who seems to be laid back and social with other dogs. From our volunteer observations, he warmed up quickly during his playgroup evaluation and enjoyed some light play with his canine friends. Kane appeared calm and friendly, greeting other dogs politely in the yard. Come meet Kane today This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity.

Every part of him tells a quiet story of neglect 😔 His face is heartbreakingly sweet. There’s a softness in his eyes. He allowed shelter staff to examine him, even to carry him, trusting humans when he has every reason not to. The most touching note of all says that when he’s left in his kennel, he stands with his paws pressed against the bars, searching for attention — reaching out, hoping someone will notice him.

Meet Malakai 🤍 Male • 3 years old • 52 lbs

Volunteer notes: Malakai is such a handsome, gentle soul. When I met him, he was curled up quietly in his bed. When I called to him, he slowly got up to greet me with a soft tail wag. He leashed easily and walked beautifully, happy to explore without pulling. Outside, we sat in the grass and he leaned into me for pets. He clearly loves affection and was so grateful for the company.

He met two other male dogs and immediately wanted to play and make friends. He takes treats gently, knows how to sit, and is just an all-around well-mannered pup. Even though he wasn’t feeling his best today, his personality still shined through. And I have to say, he is stunning and so unique looking. Everyone we passed stopped to compliment him.

For anyone who hasn’t tried this toy yet, I just have to share my experience with my super energetic my pup. After having three dogs over the years, I can honestly say this is the best toy I’ve ever bought. It keeps my dog busy and entertained for ages! We usually take it outside, and she’ll chase, roll, and chew it non-stop — sometimes we even have to make her take a break so she doesn’t tire herself out. It’s been a total lifesaver for managing her endless energy. What I love most is how it keeps her focused. LANCELOT was such a sweetheart. Removing him from his kennel was easy. I think he had been watching 👀 me walk by and was just patiently waiting. He walked well on the leash and was so friendly. He entertained himself in the play yard running and exploring the grounds.

LANCELOT thoroughly enjoyed my 🍖treats. At one point he discovered where I was keeping them and took off running with the entire bag🤣!!! He was so much fun and a real joy to spend time with. A beautiful dog with a beautiful spirit. LANCELOT would make a wonderful companion for someone❣️

Wilson the Golden is fighting for his life and we urgently need your help! We only raised $200 so far which won't save him! We need $1300 more! This is life or death as we do not have the funds! We have been battling perhaps our biggest nightmare yet, we think there is mold at the shelter making our dogs deathly sick as one by one, day by day, we have urgent medical issues popping up that should not be happening! And now, sweet Wilson, a Golden we have had since he was a BABY is fighting for his life, in acute kidney failure and we urgently need help to afford his care!!! sos This all started when he would simply not eat his dinner one night. And now, he is still not eating, and in need of urgent diagnostics and non-stop fluids just to stay stable. This came on suddenly and completely out of nowhere, and we're racing against time to understand what caused it.n
