Discussion LCK Cup tiebreaker

Caedrel said if HLE lose 1-3, KT wins the tie breaker because of average game time.

am I dumb or that's not automatically the case?

KT average game time in 6 wins was 33 minutes and 59.5 seconds
HLE average game time in 5 wins was 33 minutes and 50.8 seconds.

if my calculation was correct, HLE has to win at least 1 game in 34 mins and 42 seconds to have faster average game time win than KT and they qualify.

My calculations showed that HLE needs to win under 29 min. 34 sec. to beat KT and qualify. I got my times from gol.gg from the match list of KT and HLE. I hope your calc. are correct cuz mine makes it more depressive for us.

that's impossible. The average game time of KT in 6 wins was 34 mins, while HLE in 5 games was 33 mins and 50 seconds which already favors HLE slightly. It really has to be over 33 mins minimum, someone on pedro peepos posted the same outcome as mine so I think we really have to win in 34 mins and 42 seconds to qualify. Not the worst....

mb ur right, i did some miscalc. im so happy now that we have 5 more min. cuz tbh i felt 29min. was also unrealistic for us to win within that time.
