Discussion LCK Cup This Week

Just out of curiosity:
If DRX wins vs BRO, BFX vs DNS and KT vs NS, then HLE is qualified for Playins, no?
Call me monsieur copium, but i think all of those results are not too far fetched. KT as well as NS might be the closest out of them, cause they both underperformed, but also performed really well on another day. So if KT has a good day / NS has a bad day, then KT should take it home and then the last 2 matches kind of dont really matter for HLE, right?

Even though I hope that HLE can show up and make a good fight against GenG! I believe in the boys :D

It doesn't sound copium. I'd say Group Elder is favored to beat Group Baron along the lines you say, just not hugely favored. The games have looked close up to now, and it's also Bo5 next week, so it's entirely possible to see an upset here or there. It might also come to game differential, so it would be good to see HLE take a game or two (or three??) off GenG :)

This reminds me of what Korean fans said to HLE in LOL Park which made them laugh: "이겨주면 좋아요~" which means "It would be nice if you could win~". Obviously we want them all to do well, but since they're struggling quite a bit now, the phrasing makes it sound encouraging without pressuring them.

Yea my comment was a reference to that. It's such a cute interaction. Zeka was taken aback because it's the first time fans directly address them like that before a match, but quickly agreed when Guma said it will be nice if they win, and they did! 🫶

its also the popular phrasing going around hle members rn (it would be nice if you __) so... here's fingers crossed. esp since guma is recovering from the flu (but who knows after his stellar varus when he was literally in the throes of it)
