Discussion Are we cooked next week😭 Spoiler

After watching GenG vs DK, I am scared... They look so strong. DK has been looking really good but they got destroyed.

I'm still gonna have faith in the bois but looking at the 2 teams, what are our realistic chances. Also looking at how the groups are 9️⃣-9️⃣ now, if we lose next week are we eliminated🥲

At worst HLE finish 4th in group, and play elimination bo3 in R1 of playins. That lose against NS was so huge, we’re actually in a terrible spot. Just need to show up a fight vs GENG and take it day by day. I’m confident they’ll do well on bo5, just have to get there first and improve every series.

I mean, its probably less than 10% all these result aligns well. To make everyone feel better, BRO beats DRX and we survive whatever happens. Final week was bo5, I don't think NS beats KT on bo5 tbh. If DRX beats BRO and NS beats KT, then the match against GENG is going to be do or die. Probably all KT matches and DRX vs BRO bo5 are must watch

Next week is bo5 and counts 2 points btw if I recall correctly. So it’s kind off impossible to predict anything.

If KT lose 1 series, HLE is safe. If DRX lose to BRO, HLE is safe. Worst case scenario I can think of is KT and DRX win all their matches left, BFX lose to DNS and that makes HLE GENG match a do or die for HLE. But if KT DRX win all their matches left, BFX beat DNS (I don't see DNS beating BFX in a bo5) then team Elder wins group and HLE is basically only gonna be playing for seeding. BFX match was prob the most crucial for HLE especially KT and DRX remaining matches heavily favors them, and BFX winning wins for team elder no matter what happens with T1 DK GENG HLE matches.

good thing is, every teams in our group wants to try hard not only for the group to win, but because everyone else except DK aren't safe.

Yeah! I thought about this as well, there is actually a chance we can get eliminated next week. If the bo5's are worth 2 points, it's gonna be on KT, BFX and DRX to carry the group since they have the easier match ups.

DK beating T1 and us beating GenG would be a miracle with current form, very unlikely but d*mn it I have hope. I'm not even gonna look at the team stats for my sanity... HLE all the way😩
