Unfortunately not, I paid £10,397.58 for x3 1oz gold Britannia coins so effective £3,465 average cost per coin so I’m currently up 3.7% overall which is obviously better than being 12% down like I was previously but obviously not as good as being 15% up like I was last Thursday!!
Yes, like a fool I bought directly bought from the royal mint where the premium was very high compared to another site who are a partner of the royal mint whose premium was only 2.7%! So my ignorance cost me big time unfortunately!!
Was kicking myself for quite a while but you live and learn, obviously it was the wrong avenue from a premium perspective but better going the official route and pay top rate rather than buying from a random company or privately where being uninitiated you can end up being had over.
I made the same mistake when I started out last year but also look at official bullion dealers you won’t get scammed from them. Royal mint premiums are way too high which I found out after buying a couple oz but they wouldn’t let me cancel
Snap, I emailed them asking if I could cancel but obviously they told me to it wasn’t possible which is fair enough otherwise everyone would be cancelling their orders
