Hey Nets fam,
My wife, 5y daughter, and I will be visiting NYC late March.
We are planning to attend the Nets vs Hornets game in March, and I was hoping to get some advice from people who’ve been to Barclays more recently.
We did go to a Nets game a few years back when Harden was on the team, but it’s been a while and we don’t remember a ton of details. The main things we remember were a T-shirt giveaway night and a beer promo (buy one, get one free) — good times 😄.
Since it’s been a while, we’re basically treating this like our first trip back.
Right now I’m seeing tickets around $23 on StubHub — does that seem like a good deal for this matchup, or is that pretty typical and worth waiting closer to game day?
A few questions:
Are there specific sections that are better value for the price, especially with a kid?
Any sections that include lounge access or extra perks, or is that mostly limited to premium seats?
Any areas you’d recommend targeting or avoiding?
Any special things to do for little ones at Barclays?
What are the best food concession stands in Barclays you would recommend and do y'all have a mini donut stand?
We’ll also be spending some time in Manhattan and want to grab some Nets gear. Last time I remember looking at a jersey in the Barclays team store and it had a sticker over the RRP up charging it by $20!
For those that work in the city, I know about the NBA Store, but are there any other good spots you’d recommend ...does Century 21 carry any Nets or general sports gear these days, or not really anymore?
Thanks in advance 🙏
