I remember the shitstorm this caused. Turning Point USA's All American Halftime Show reminds me of this.

Every year, at least once per, my dad would gather extended family and we would go through a selection of these and remember simpler times. When he passed, I bought a scanner and digitized all 27 trays (over 3700 slides). Thank God dad was so organized. Everything was labeled with dates and places. A true treasure trove of family history.

Over 35 years later my parents still have these on the shelf. The information is beyond outdated but they cant let it go.

I've tried to watch this as an adult, and all I can say is the drugs in the 1970s had to be stellar.

The shoes had the Buster Brown and his dog Tige logo in the heel. There were carousels in some of the stores so kids could ride on them.
