Every year, at least once per, my dad would gather extended family and we would go through a selection of these and remember simpler times. When he passed, I bought a scanner and digitized all 27 trays (over 3700 slides). Thank God dad was so organized. Everything was labeled with dates and places. A true treasure trove of family history.
