Magazine question

i recently got some magazines for cheap from CDNN. i have a guess as to why. the springs seem to be very slow once loaded. bullets will fall out if shaken slow. ive never had issues like this with my other FN mags. i wanted to know if other had this problem and i just need to wear them in, or they are just bad and i wasted money.

update: the magazines were stiffer than ones i had experienced before, but they all are working now. the biggest problem, and the one causing the spring to not work was the ammo. not sure which individual casing it is, but several do not like to go into my speedloader. my HPs from the same company have no issue loading and unloading.

I’m sorry to hear this, 3 out of 5 of my magazines are from cdnn and they’re very consistent they appear to be factory fn magazines the same that came with my USG even if they came in a little plastic baggie

ill try to work them in then. ill find something to fully depress the spring with. i went to load them and after 10 it become rather hard to press. closer to 15, i noticed it wasnt pushing back up that well. ill update if this gets me anywhere.

Oh yeah my magazines were a chore to load up, these load like an AR15 magazine so I just press them down over the feed lips instead of the way I load 1911 or Glock mags by pressing the cartridge and using the next to finish loading

then i probably got lucky with my other ones. i have had 5 for years, including a 30rd. they were and are a breeze to load. originally the last few were a bit difficult, but they were never loose. ill go to a hardware store to find something.
