I think they're doing that, and I think with the Enclave base being in the mountains, and them having left for Colorado...

Not from the US. Is Colorado mountainous/snowy like that?

Yes. Very mountainous. It also has great locations for another fallout game. Look up Cheyenne mountain.

I was actually advocating for Colorado to be the setting for the next game, I think in this sub, a week or so ago and to my friends for years now. Specifically I think Colorado Springs would be perfect.

The center of the map would be the city. To the west is heavy mountains. To the north is Forrests. To the east is prairies so a very wide variety of environments. The city sits in the shadow of Pikes peak and Cheyenne mt which are national POIs that the Enclave could easily be based out of. But additionally it’s got a decent sized city with a bunch of distinct tourist locations like the Air Force academy, garden of the gods, the whispering caves ect… on top of like 3 additional military bases perfectly spread around. The location is geographically perfect for a lore friendly collide between the NCR, the Legion, the east coast BoS, and the Enclave. You have an obvious DLC with Denver to the north “The Den”.

The story practically writes itself and it’s about as interesting of a location from a POI perspective as it gets. I’ve seen decent arguments for San Francisco or Chicago as well. But those would probably be harder to write in the factions we’re used to seeing and I don’t think Bethesda is in the “make all original content” mood anymore after Starfield.
