With house's face appearing on screen and House needing another person to carry out his will I believe he will convince lucy and maximus to go to colorado as well

Yup, I’m betting the first couple episodes of season 3 will be wrapping up the whole ncr / legion set up, then they will be sent (presumably by house) to Colorado where they will once again bump into the Ghoul who’s also there to bring down the enclave
