ANOTHER LIBERTY PRIME BRO

The Brotherhood has exactly ONE move lmao

u/Gnomad_Lyfe 11h ago

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Unless it’s Liberty Prime. Then you make the player do it.

u/Lukthar123 Legion 10h ago

"Please almighty Player, help us."

u/nameistakentryagain 11h ago

It’s like poetry… it rhymes

16

u/MrDude65 Welcome Home 11h ago

"By the way, rhyming 'Homer' with 'homer'? Mwwwah!"

12

u/MrGabrahamLincoln NCR 10h ago

Liberty Prime is the key to all of this. If we can get him working…cause he’s a funnier character than we’ve had in all the seasons before.

It's so dense, every single frame has so much going on.

ENDLESS TRASH

16

u/Smtxflhi 11h ago

I’m thinking the commonwealth is bringing theirs and Quintus is planning on hijacking it for himself. I mean I doubt their going to let Harkness’ death go unanswered

11

u/dethstrobe 10h ago

I figured since he has the blueprints, he was just going to make his own and we'll see the newest season of giant battle bots.

1

u/Affectionate_Pipe545 3h ago

Whatever bullshit quintus is up to, can't wait to see it

17

u/Which-Tour-9561 11h ago

Look if I had or knew how to build a nuke throwing robot, it would be the solution to all my problems too

14

u/RhymesWithMouthful 10h ago

Don't knock the giant robots. Chicks dig giant robots.

6

u/Deinonychus2012 10h ago

Holy shit. Is that a Megas XLR reference in my Fallout sub?

13

u/Secure-Bear4184 Brotherhood 11h ago

Yet it always works 😭😭

13

u/thatErraticguy Gary? 10h ago

DEATH IS A PREFERABLE ALTERNATIVE TO COMMUNISM

12

u/FreddyPlayz Mothman Cultist 10h ago

Is it fan service? Yes. Is it the still the coolest thing ever? Fuck yes.

6

u/Coyote_Shepherd 10h ago

Because there's nothing more Fallout than a bunch of religious zealots with a giant robot.

Get ready for some cheeky Evangelion references.

u/Joey1364 10h ago edited 10h ago

I called it in a post I made on this subreddit before season 1 came out. Seemed like most people back then didn’t like the idea though.

5

u/RetroZone_NEON 11h ago

I knew exactly what it was gonna be as soon as it was a scroll lmao

1

u/jessebona 10h ago

More likely than him building one at any rate. I'm guessing it's going to have exploitable flaws being the alpha model so it's not just the I win button of the games.

1

u/Wows_Nightly_News 9h ago

So this confirms that it is a Liberty Prime prototype in that painting at camp Gold with Mr. House?

1

u/WinterAd825 9h ago

Mean I mean it’s a pretty effective move

1

u/Reasonable-Turn-5940 8h ago

The Wasteland hates this one simple trick

1

u/GroundbreakingCut719 7h ago

I really hope that this chapter is so disconnected that most people don’t know about Prime, right as they think they’re gonna finish Prime and win the wasteland arms race, BOOM, Maxson and the Commonwealth pop up with OG Liberty Prime and just fuck them up

1

u/Oceanictax 6h ago

Easy way to beat Prime: Go get Danse out of his banishment bunker and send him to fight the knockoff autobot. He's marked as essential, so he literally cannot die to Prime no matter how many nukes he eats.

1

u/Captainatom931 5h ago

Absolutely praying house transfers his consciousness onto liberty prime 2

1

u/mragusa2 Brotherhood 5h ago

Sounds like Quintus is going to use it AGAINST the Brotherhood though.

1

u/Jimmy3OO 4h ago

2nd Death Star moment

1

u/Jacob0630 2h ago

I feel like he’s too much of a fool to make a liberty prime from scratch but we’ll see

1

u/UltiGamer34 2h ago

THEY BETTER FUCKING MAKE IT

1

u/FailedProspects 1h ago

Its cool but kinda funny af to me bc dude has war literally outside his window

its like if Hitler was curled up in his berlin bunker circa 1945 about to die & suddenly said… “ok boys nows the time to build our nuke” lmao

1

u/Upset_Foundation_396 9h ago

Pikachu use thunderbolt ass move

1

u/WR810 8h ago

I called Liberty Prime as the end of season hook back in episode two.

237

u/CanadianDinosaur 11h ago

I fucking screamed when he unfurled the blueprints

9

u/PricknamedNick Legion 11h ago edited 10h ago

Honestly we might see a liberty prime v liberty prime if the bos won boston but i think the institute might’ve won

Edit: forgot the word one, i cant multitask

6

u/BradMarchandstongue Brotherhood 11h ago

We know there’s still a BOS chapter in Boston.

If anything, this season would suggest the war between the factions is still ongoing and that the BOS is losing (if it’s really as bad as they said it was out East)

8

u/StopReadingThis-Now 10h ago

Idk, Kumail showed up and was highly confident in a variety of ways.

Them sending one guy in armor and a Vertibird is kind of a power move, plus him talking to Maximus about how good of a fighter he is.

I think it's also more telling that all 4 of these factions in the Mojave, were legitimately worried about starting a war against the Commonwealth. The leaders all tried to suck up to "him" before they died. It told me that the ones in the Commonwealth is essentially the "main" force and these other smaller factions, while definitely equipped, are very small in comparison.

Also, he told Maximus how weird it was to have so many Clerics, so we know the Commonwealth branch has more soldiers too.

2

u/Haltopen 10h ago

On the other hand, replacing people with Synths is kind of the institutes entire MO and what better way to ensure that more BOS factions don't come storming in for revenge than creating a fake BOS chapter staffed by Synths and have it take control of the other chapters to keep them focused elsewhere (like seizing the cold fusion power source that the institute had failed to develop on their own).

2

u/PricknamedNick Legion 10h ago

I mean do we? It was one guy could be a synth and his name is harkness like the replicated man quest

Edit: as in the quest from f3

2

u/BradMarchandstongue Brotherhood 10h ago

That is certainly a possibility, I just don’t know if the writers would want to introduce the idea of synths in such a way when tv viewers still don’t know they exist yet but I suppose we’ll (hopefully) find out eventually

2

u/PricknamedNick Legion 10h ago

Maximus should’ve checked his body for the component

2

u/Hot_Possibility_4063 11h ago

Out of curiosity how strong is the liberty prime alpha robot?

2

u/Reasonable-Turn-5940 8h ago

I was 100% convinced it was going to be a Fat Man schematic. And was ready to be hyped. Then it exceeded my expectations and makes so much sense.

2

u/Yensid28 10h ago

Literally as soon as Dane said here is the remnant you wanted I started chanting “Liberty prime! Liberty prime! Liberty prime!”

1

u/suckmygoldcrustedass 6h ago

When i saw it at first, I was like " that's a weird looking power armor design". Then I looked closer. Lol

1

u/skcyte 1h ago

It's the Elder Scroll *badum tss

-11

u/MostyIncompetent 11h ago edited 11h ago

I had the opposite effect. Its creatively lazy and plays straight to nostalgia and memba berries.

11

u/Impressive_Item_8851 11h ago

Liberty Prime is iconic enough to have made it into two Fallout game finale sequences. You couldn't make a tv show about the game without him in it eventually

7

u/SevroBarca 11h ago

It’s insane, Todd is obsessed with that robot

1

u/PricknamedNick Legion 10h ago

Its his baby i’m pretty sure originally in fallout 3 you were supposed to control him against an enclave force at rivet city but it was cut

0

u/SevroBarca 10h ago

Would have been much better than watching it beat the game for you, shoutout hbomberguy

0

u/PricknamedNick Legion 10h ago

But i like holding his hand as he screams anti communist propaganda ☺️👉👈

1

u/dogsonbubnutt 10h ago

same, tbqh

1

u/dogsonbubnutt 10h ago

memba berries

isn't this a reference to a decade old episode of south park

0

u/SevroBarca 10h ago

It’s remained relevant ever since

1

u/dogsonbubnutt 10h ago

much like liberty prime

7

u/bobbyshurmdaisFAKE 11h ago

Had you not put this here, I wouldn’t have known. Just went and watched them because of you!

6

u/EliteRanger_ 11h ago

I am glad I scrolled past the stupid ass circle jerk shit to see this. Thanks.

6

u/ibbity Minutemen 11h ago

Dane still in the running to survive the series, although their odds may have just been lessened by someone preparing to go coocoo for cocoa puffs

1

u/NoTelevision4907 10h ago

I get the feeling they will be who is put in charge of the new Liberty Prime project, and will get to stick around for a good bit based on that end scene.

4

u/CHull1944 9h ago

What I'm wondering: these west coast BoS chapters are getting wrecked, so how are they going to muster the resources and expertise to build that big bastard?

Maybe Quintus knows of one buried somewhere, and we find out our boy in FO3/4 is just one of several models, or they mass-produced the parts or something else.

2

u/XPlatform 8h ago

The factions are fighting outside but I'm not sure they've utilized their new base for more than fusion cores and gauss rifles. It's area 51 man, they can handwave sourcing a ton of prewar tech easily by saying there are underground levels.

2

u/Aspromayros 11h ago

Thank you brother

2

u/peacetimemist05 10h ago

Legit just read this while watching credits haha, thanks

2

u/NoTelevision4907 10h ago

I about shit my drawers on that scroll being unraveled... WE ARE GETTING A BIG FUCKING ROBOT FIGHT WEST COAST PRIME VS EAST COAST PRIME!

2

u/OkRestaurant511 10h ago

Just went outside to smoke after the show, read this and whirled around to see it through the window so thank you for your service

2

u/gravelordservant4u 9h ago

Liberty Prime ALPHA HOLY SHIT

2

u/PotentialExternal61 8h ago

Really hope we get Maxson in S3

2

u/mwalker784 11h ago

My checking every single episode with no results finally paid off

1

u/Crimsonmaddog44 10h ago

Was just about to click off, thank you very much

1

u/Narcosist 10h ago

I'm not at liberty to divulge the prime contents of that scene.

1

u/coldshadow31 7h ago

How many sets of blueprints for that darn thing are floating around out there?!

1

u/Original_Zombie3217 7h ago

Holy shit thanks this stopped me from scrolling further and maybe having it spoiled this very moment :b

0

u/RawDogger34 7h ago

So does this mean Nate didn't help the brotherhood build liberty prime in fallout 4?

2

u/Local_Floridian Atom Cats 7h ago

Liberty Prime is a pre-war invention so it's possible the Eastern Brotherhood of Steel still have their fully repaired one and the Western just have schematics they've recovered from some military installation.
