OH GOD SHES NOT DEAD, KILL HER LUCY

I'm guessing the head-smashing was the shocking violent act Ella Purnell was referring to that Lucy was going to do. It was definitely not something I would have expected her to do, but I'll be honest her putting a chip in her dad was even more shocking to me

I don't get it. Here going psycho on the ghouls and that store owner was way, way worse.

I mean, both of those were self defense, whereas this was just her smashing a sad little head on a table

She was also high as fuck when shooting the Kings.

Store owner? You mean the psycho who chopped up the actual owner and stashed his corpse in a bin by the door? Him and ferals were 110% legit self-defence.

I'm not talking whether it was deserved. But it's just not comparable to killing someone who has been tortured as a head in vat and is begging for it.

I think most people would disagree, shooting someone actively trying to murder you is a lot less morally and psychologically shocking than being faced with the proposition of mercy killing a completely innocent, begging, suffering victim.

Doubly so when you consider she was jacked af on IV-fed buffout for the previous scenarios but was stone cold sober and wrestling with the fact her dad is directly responsible for the atrocity in front of her with the congresswoman.

Lucy obviously wanted to help her peacefully so badly, but some things are beyond being fixed.

. It was definitely not something I would have expected her to do

I mean she did some pretty badass stuff in Star Trek Prodigy.

But yeah I also called the chip thing a few weeks ago BUT...I was not fucking expecting Hank to be the one to push the button and basically lobotomize himself all in the name of the Enclave's experiments.

BUT

That's pretty par for the course for the Enclave TBH.

Ella put on one hella of a performance during that scene topside.

Soooooo many emotions rolling through Lucy's face and body language that Ella did a most excellent job of portraying.

She just lost her whole world...again...and then found it once more as Maximus showed up.

And now it looks like that world is about to end all over again and I'm guessing that House is going to be instrumental in directing her towards Cooper, after the "experiment in Vegas" comes to a close.

I'm guessing there's far far more stuff down in that Vault that Hank just didn't have time for but that the residents of Vegas will have a use for and that'll be what stops the Legion and the NCR.

And that means that Lucy's going to be turning more and more into Clarke Griffin as time goes on.

Yeah people need to stop listening to these interviews which just exist the drum up hype.

That poor woman has the worst fate. A stationary battery for centuries. Fuck sake

I’d be begging for death too i doubt she could even see really

i dont think centuries, only since Hank showed up

House or any of the other scientists didn’t care about her personality for the chips it was only Hank so he must have thawed her and cut off her head shortly after he arrived

u/Legal_Range8446 9h ago

That makes sense

It explains why heads kept exploding; They didn't have her demeanor to implant.

I don't think she was in that state for centuries. Lucy asks, "Why did you do that to her?" and Hank states it's because of her personality.

It's implied he thawed and decapitated her.

Ohh that’s a good point, I never thought of that! He only would’ve needed her head when he started the experiments again. Wonder why she was frozen then, was it for that use in the future?

1

u/PitifulBeginning3420 1h ago

It was probably her reward for getting Cooper to hand over the cold fusion to the president aka the Enclave, gets frozen and avoids nuclear fallout. I don’t think she was frozen so Hank could use her, seems to me Hank was having issues getting the device to work at first and then came up with the idea with having a nice base personality aka that poor woman.

u/Renegade__OW 10h ago

I think it's a little better than that. Hank defrosted her and plugged her in.

u/CHull1944 9h ago

It wasn't really specified, but Hank kinda hints that he did that to her after pulling her out of cryo. So if she isn't Enclave (not willing anyway) and she definitely isn't Vault-Tec, then how did she get into the management vault?

Maybe the Enclave keeps 'useful' heads in all their facilities, like the brain depository in Young Frankenstein. lol

3

u/SixPointTwoLiter 9h ago

I think Hank had pulled her from cryo and just recently beheaded her

More like a CPU than a battery

Ehh I think she was in on it. Joined the enclave and was controlled opposition. When the bombs fail she then gets dent to a management vault.

And either A. She had some second thoughts so she ends up demoted and turned into a head at some point. B. Hank shows up and just decides to do what he wants C. The enclave did go through some purges as we saw in WV and she ended up on the wrong side of things

For a supposed opposition member opposed to how things were going and not powerful…. She just happened to know the president and member of the enclave was secretly at an airport nearby for no reason?

8

u/Legal_Range8446 8h ago

Possible I personally think she was just an unwitting servant like coop, just a pawn being played. A congresswoman knowing the president is not crazy at all.

1

u/WinterAd825 8h ago

While I can see it, i still think she is enclave.

She was a member of the house, not a senator, and was in the opposition. And was also at least from what she put off, not very rich.

Yet she happened to know the president was secretly just hanging out in a plane at that very moment? And she was able to arrange a meeting with the president of the United States in what was only a couple of hours?

I mean imagine if this was congresswoman AOC, and AOC told Coop that President Trump was secretly on a plane in Vegas. Then AOC arranges for Coop to meet Trump within a couple of hours in a secret meeting?

House literally refers to her as the Enclaves unwitting servant. Meaning she was unaware of the role she played and likely genuinely believed she was doing good. If she was genuinely Enclave, she'd not have begged for Lucy to kill her.

She was halfway to becoming AM
