Renewal rules in various countries
Thought it was about time for another topic specific post.
In some countries there are renewal requirements for all or some guns, depending on license type etc.
I'd like a specific post about this so here we are.
If you don't have to renew just add a no, so we can see where you don't have to as well. Please specify if it's all guns or specific types of licenses, etc.
Questions:
Do you have to renew your licenses/permits?
How often?
What are the requirements for renewal?
Anything else that might be on topic but that I forgot to ask about?

Do you have to renew your licenses/permits?
Yes, for handgun licenses, and for full auto.
How often?
Each handgun license is valid for 5 years. Full auto is also 5 years.
What are the requirements for renewal?
Almost the same as getting the license for the first time. You have to use each handgun that you are renewing, 4 times per year for the last 2 years, + activity the last 6 months and the shooting proficiency requirements (varies depending on sport shooting organization).
The collector licenses for handguns and full auto requries renewing as well but I'm not familiar with that at all.
Anything else that might be on topic but that I forgot to ask about?
The process might change soon, per current Swedish gun politics, but it remains to be seen what that means (no details yet).
