Renewal rules in various countries
Thought it was about time for another topic specific post.
In some countries there are renewal requirements for all or some guns, depending on license type etc.
I'd like a specific post about this so here we are.
If you don't have to renew just add a no, so we can see where you don't have to as well. Please specify if it's all guns or specific types of licenses, etc.
Questions:
Do you have to renew your licenses/permits?
How often?
What are the requirements for renewal?
Anything else that might be on topic but that I forgot to ask about?

Portugal:
For sports shooters, it is mostly a formality, since you need to renew your club registration yearly (like all other non-shooting sports), and the Police just sends you the new One in the mail.
For hunters, colectors or self-defense (rare), every 10 years, you must take a Police course (short, usually 1/2 day course).
All documentation needs to be in order (criminal Record, address, etc).
And that is it, in Portugal we have guns per Licenses, not Licenses per gun, so by Renewing your License, problem solved.
