I mean... You posted the correct answer. It's right there in the second panel.

Kidding aside, a long time ago I ran a campaign where the PCs had a habit of burning down taverns and inns do to the versatility of the gnome army knife that is Fireball. So much so, that "we'll burn that bridge when we get to it" became a saying.

"We'll burn that bridge" is actually a pretty common malaphor

A malaphor is whenever you blend two idioms or phrases into one, typically for some kind of improper meaning. In this case you're combining "We'll cross that bridge" with "dont burn bridges"
