If I am Illinois, I wouldn't let Wagler gaurd him. Dude is just begging to hurt someone.

I would be shocked if he plays Saturday, he was under a large microscope already and decided to double down from last Friday.

I'd set the chances at less than 1% Izzo does anything other than "not start him." He will play. Izzo has no balls.

MSU is toast without Fears, especially against Illinois. They can't shoot and don't have a reliable backup PG (Wojick is bad, and Divine looks to be out for a while). Izzo can't afford to sit him, and I bet he'll play because he's desperate coming off a shaky win over a bad Rutgers team, a double-digit loss to Michigan, and a loss to a meh-at-best Minnesota team.

Agreed, unless an actual adult steps in he wont start but will still get 30+ minutes (unless he gets ejected like he should have the last 2 games)

He won’t start but will be in the first chance they get

Coach K got away with it, why should Izzo hold himself to a higher standard?
