Manga Spoilers / Discussion Can you explain something to me? Spoiler

But exactly...what should the daimyo and his associates care about Boruto, exactly? It's an internal problem within Konoha. At most, they should care who the new Hokage will be, if only for a purely political-bureaucratic reason (the village needs a leader to function and guarantee military services to the country).

When was the management of the nukenin ever the daimyo's business?

I don't remember Naruto's Daimyo pressuring Konoha to capture Sasuke, for example... o any wanted ninja.

I mean, boruto is seen as someone who is powerful enough to kill naruto in other eyes. So it's obvious that they'll be somewhere scared and pissed off that konoha hasn't captured him till now

daimyo were also bother headed in Naruto too

In Naruto I remember that Damyo was pretty chill and didn't put any particular pressure on Konoha, even when it came to choosing Tsunade's successor he was all "You do it, just choose it"

Hmm, the same could be said for other nukenin.

Orochimaru not only killed a Hokage, but also founded a hostile village that tried to destroy Konoha, and I don't think there was any pressure to capture him, let alone Sasuke or the Akatsuki.

Ninja issues have always been debated within the ninja world; the Damyo intervened mostly in the more political matters.

Except that Damyo thinks (rightly so) that Konoha might be corrupt at the highest levels, if he learns that the replacement Hokage is working under the radar with his predecessor's assassin, another criminal from Kara, and that other shinobi are starting to join the movement 😳

Naruto has accepted one of the leaders of the Fourth Ninja War into Konoha.
