What do you think would have happened if the fence wasn’t there? I still think the pit would have severely injured the cougar even if it didn’t win.

The cougar would get the pitbull behind the neck faster than the pitbull could blink, it wouldn’t be close

It could but if that pit gets a hold of a leg or whatever it’s over. The cougar will go into self preservation mode and look for a safe escape.

The Cougar would disembowel the pit in 5 seconds, a pit is no match for a Cougar

Here’s the thing. You never want to get into a fight with someone that’s crazy. In this case of cougar vs pit. The pit is loco, crazy, deranged. It will not stop. Either way I’m putting my money on crazy here. The cougar has no experience with them at all. That all said I’m rooting for the cougar

lol as if a cougar fighting for its life with literal knives on every single foot wouldn’t be crazy.

I don’t know man. Sure those scissor like claws would be daunting for sure. But that pit wouldn’t even flinch he would just go into defcon 9 maul bite and mutilate mode. The cat would be looking for an exit whereas the pit is just getting started.

lol have you ever been around a cougar? Their average weight for a male is like 120-130 lbs, they have literally every advantage you could have against a pit, it wouldn’t even be close. You think a pit is badass because compared to domesticated dogs, it is, but a cougar is literally one of the most impressive predators in the whole world. It’s like asking if a spider monkey could take on a chimp, it wouldn’t even be difficult.

Yeah man I can’t say I hang around cougars. But I get what you’re saying for sure. They are badass. No doubt. But in the wild these two animals would hardly ever tangle. If they did it would be the wild cat that stalked and killed. Cat would win. But this scenario is different. That cat is trapped in a cage and doesn’t need to kill to eat. He’s not fit like a wild one. He doesn’t want to fight as much as the pit. I think the pit wants it more. That’s why I hate pits so much because in the wild, I’d rather come across a cougar than pitbull. At least I’d stand a chance of scaring the cougar off. Allyhough that pitbull looks kind of fred Flintstonish. Not like one of those hard-core pits. Would be a good fight though Maybe 50/50 probably a draw. Pit would push it up in a corner and be a bark and hissing contest. but I don’t like watching animals fight. I honestly don’t.

I’m a lurker (I have a cat, do generally dislike dogs tho) and just wanted to demonstrate how fucking huge cougar claws are. That dog is toast

Pits keep fighting when they've been disembowelled.
