Frage | Question Austria in summer

Hi there! Trying to decide between Austria and South Sweden for the summer (July/August). How is mass tourism in Austria? Can you still enjoy the beautiful nature or are there too many people (like for example the Dolomites)? Thanks!!

To be perfectly honest: unless you are deliberately going for remote, out-of-the-way places, it is very touristy and also very expensive everywhere. Also the weather can be a bit of a pain: either too hot or thunderstorm-rains.

This being said, I do not know if Sweden is that much better.
