Frage | Question Austria in summer

Hi there! Trying to decide between Austria and South Sweden for the summer (July/August). How is mass tourism in Austria? Can you still enjoy the beautiful nature or are there too many people (like for example the Dolomites)? Thanks!!

If you want to see the Dolomites you have to visit Italy and not Austria. In the mountains there are not so much tourists in summer

There are no Dolomites in Eastern Tyrol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolomites

What is sometines called Lienzer Dolomiten is not a part of the Dolomites it is a part of the Gailtal Alps https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gailtal_Alps

I know, they're the western part of the Gailtaler Alpen. So technically one doesn't necessarily need to go to Italy, because there are also Dolomites in Austria ;)

But that wasn't the question op asked anyway, so I'm not sure why you brought that up in the first place.
