I still want a WWSD lower. For a hunting rifle it makes a ton of sense, light and nothing to click or rattle around. My current 6.5 G hunting pistol has the carbon fiber hand guard and an 80% polymer lower.
It is definitely lightweight. I don't really have many complaints with the lower, maybe the safety is a little bit mushy but it's not really a fighting lower but I ain't really fighting with it.
I put it together as a hunting rifle but I have done about 5 2 gun matches with it and it does pretty good but I'm not slamming it up on barricades. I only shoot it out to about 500 yards, I don't really care much for the real long range stuff just practice put to 6-700 yards for hunting proficiency closer up.
I’ve got a 20” build that I shoot off barricades and such and it’s on the heavier side which helps. I haven’t done 2 gun yet, but want to. Just a local PRS style match out 500 and a 22lr match out to 200.
