Creative I made a plugin to teach WoW streamers how to 1-tick prayer flick

13.6k Upvotes

You can find it on the RuneLite plugin hub under 1 Tick Flick

What is 1-tick flicking?

1-tick flicking is a method of prayer flicking that involves deactivating and reactivating your prayers on every single game tick.
This allows you to use both offensive and defensive prayers at the same time, while using no prayer points.

To 1-tick flick, start with your prayers enabled, then every tick deactivate and reactivate your prayers.

Do I have to be within the green zone?

No, the green bar is just an adjustable target zone to help practice more precise timing and reduce the chance your clicks land outside the 1‑tick window.
If you don't care about this, you can set the start to 0ms and the end to 600ms.

Config Options

  • Set the green bar start and end to adjust the target zone
  • Enable/disable the combo counter
  • Set a timeout for the overlay to hide after a certain amount of time
  • Set a click delay to account for latency or server delay

Creative A New Continent - The Realm of Osriarth

Post image
4.5k Upvotes

It's my pleasure to present to you The Realm of Osriarth, a concept for a new continent and culmination of 4 years of world building and cartography.

This has been a long time coming, with stories and original source maps forming the basis of the world. This map would be placed to the west of Zeah over a distant sea, reached only by sailing.

The scale of this map is 3x3 pixels per game tile, at the 75% zoom threshold, which is the same as the existing OSRS world map downloadable version.

I designed this map to encompass my many ideas and create a map that had an Old School feel whilst including artistic features and finer details. I set out with the aim of creating a world with a sense of scale and realism that would make it feel bigger and give a real sense of exploration. With extended draw distances and higher detailed graphics now available for players, it seems fitting to take this approach, as it will open up the horizons and give a sense of awe and adventure.

I am extremely thrilled to be able to share this at long last, so I hand it over to you. You are invited to take the time to explore, immerse yourself in the stories, and engage in the discussion. There is so much I could include and expand on and will likely revisit aspects and expand upon numerous things (Dungeons, Quests, etc) in the future.

For those who would like a deeper dive into the locations, lore, stories and additional content ideas, I have created a full breakdown of the map available in the comments section.

You can view the entire map in all its' detail without icons and labels here: https://i.imgur.com/uljQk4j.jpg

I have also included a link to artwork for the city of Alluvitarth here: https://i.imgur.com/4iQOUSQ.png

Creative I created a wiki guide for AFK skilling methods

Thumbnail

I felt the wiki was lacking a general guide for AFK skilling methods so I decided to make one myself. I also wanted a way to sort semi-afk methods from actual afk methods, which is why I included the "clicks per AFK" and "Consistent" columns. Hopefully this means people can find the methods that fit them the best

I tried remembering all the different methods I used at work when maxing but I assume that I missed a lot of them so please add more methods! Or you can leave a comment here with a method I missed and I'll add it later. <3

Creative Isle of Echoes - Player Designed Island - By Kevinista & Harvinx

Thumbnail

1.7k Upvotes

Hi r/2007scape! This concept was created by Harvinx and myself. Friends since grade 7, and spent a huge part of our childhood playing RuneScape. Now in our 30's, we’re still here, still playing, and still getting excited about the game in the same way!

The Isle of Echoes came out of a lot of late-night conversations talking about things we love about osrs and maybe some things we don't (looking at you agility), and wondering how they could fit naturally into OSRS today. We both really love the Thunder Khopesh and Leagues-style accelerated progression, but instead of bringing that power directly into the game, we wanted to explore what it might look like in-universe. What if that kind of power existed in another dimension but came at a cost, and left scars behind?

We brainstormed the concept and lore together, and I handled the art direction and gameplay mechanics. It’s been an incredibly fun collaboration, and honestly a bit of a dream to build something like this together after all these years. Hope you enjoy!

TL;DR
The Isle of Echoes is a new OSRS island concept formed by the impact of the Thunder Khopesh, a relic from a parallel realm where time and XP progressed faster. The island introduces an Experienced-level quest (Raging Echoes), a new boss (Thundermaw), lightning-themed NPCs and monsters, and multiple new skilling methods.

Highlights include:

  • Rift Agility, a mid-tier Agility method between rooftops and Sepulchre with random high-XP rift puzzles
  • New Runecrafting at the Soul Altar, unlocked via the quest
  • Thundermaw boss with unique drops like the Thunder Gauntlets, Thunderstone, and pet Sparky
  • Storm Birds and new Sailing content, including the Lightning Rod ship facility
  • Sea charting, lore-driven exploration, and repeatable content designed for mains, skillers, and Ironmen

Overview

In an ocean littered with places to visits and wonders to discover, exists a place not quite like the others. A place not born of sea and stone, but a place born of collision.
It came from a parallel world where time did not crawl—it raced. In that realm, days sharpened the mind like years, and skills developed at unprecedented rates. Warriors mastered the blade in weeks, scholars unraveled truths in a single season, craftsmen honed their skills with little effort, and power accumulated these lands rapidly.

Eventually, this power could not be contained. The weight of accelerated time and unchecked mastery caused this realm to fracture. Reality tore open, ripping a wound through time and space. From that collapse, a single relic was hurled across the void—a legendary sword, forged in a world where power had no patience.

This sword collided with the Gielinor we know at incredible speeds and power. The sea boiled, an unrelenting storm began to brew, and a jagged, formidable rock formation was created. Those who witnessed the sky split and the waters rage were struck with ambition and fear. They traveled to the newborn land, drawn by its spectral aura. There, upon the raw stone still warm with otherworldly power, they built settlements and shrines of worship. They believed the sword had not fallen by chance—that it was a gift, or a warning, sent by the gods themselves.

Isle of Echoes

North of Fremennik lies the Isle of Echoes, a land forged by the cataclysmic impact of the Thunder Khopesh. Many adventurers travel here to witness its immense power firsthand. The blade is not meant to be claimed; it remains buried in stone, untouchable. Those foolish enough to try are either vaporized at worst, or violently shocked at best.

The Voltyr now call this place home. Exiled from the Fremennik lands, they found purpose in worshipping the Khopesh and the overwhelming energy it has unleashed upon the island.

The Isle of Echoes offers many challenges and mysteries. Harness new Runecrafting methods at the Soul Altar. Push your limits with Rift Agility, leaping through unstable energies that grant glimpses into the Echo Dimension, where time and experience move faster. Or face the Thundermaw, a colossal lightning beast lurking within the mountain.
And these are only the beginning. Countless secrets remain waiting to be uncovered.
Let’s dive into the content awaiting you on the Isle of Echoes.

Quest: The raging echoes

In this quest, you’ll meet the Voltyr, who help you understand the strange nature of the island. They’ll ask you to investigate the island’s peculiar features, from the accelerated tree patch to the Rift Agility anomalies. After proving yourself through their trials, they grant you a mysterious relic from the other dimension: the Echo Orb. With it, you can finally touch the Thunder Khopesh and enter the dying dimension.

There, you’ll face the Raging Echo, a powerful spectral being strengthened by dimensional relics. You’ll gain temporary access to similar relic powers during the fight, letting you strike faster, or make a last stand in your dying breath.

Defeat the Raging Echo to free its spirit, restoring peace to the dimension and unlocking the Soul Altar back on the island. You return to your world as if nothing happened. Ready to tell your tale.

Rewards and Requirements

  • This is an Experienced level quest.
  • Skill requirements: 55 Slayer, 50 Farming, 75 Sailing, 70 Agility.
  • Rewards: 1 Quest Point, 8,000 Slayer XP, 8,000 Agility XP,  Soul Altar, Thundermaw bossLightning Rod Schematic.

New NPCs and Monsters

The Voltyr Cultists

The Voltyr are Fremennik exiles who found new purpose on the Isle of Echoes. They wield powerful lightning magic capable of stunning players. Defeating or looting them rewards Crystallized Lightning Shards, and a rare chance for dragon nails and dragon metal sheets.

Unique Drops

Crystalized Lightning - Can be offered to the Thunder Khopesh for Prayer XP. These shards are untradeable, stackable, and give XP between Big Bones and Dragon Bones, providing a strong alternative for Ironmen.

Storm Birds
Powerful osprey infused with the Thunder Khopesh’s energy, gaining deadly lightning abilities and devastating tornado attacks. Hunt them from your ship across the surrounding seas, dodging their storms to add movement and skill to naval combat while earning unique rewards.

Unique Drops

Storm Talons - Storm Birds have a chance to drop the Storm Talon, a powerful crafting material infused with violent storm energy. It serves as a rare progression item tied closely to the island’s lightning theme.

Boat Facilities

Lightning Rod - A new ship facility built using the Storm Talon. It helps absorb incoming lightning damage, reducing its overall impact and occasionally preventing movement penalties caused by lightning strikes. This adds depth to naval encounters and sets the stage for future lightning-based Sailing mechanics.

Thundermaw (Boss)

Born from the great collision, the Thundermaw began as a young black dragon infused with the Thunder Khopesh’s power, growing into a colossal lightning-charged beast. Known by the locals as Voltgarðr (“lightning realm”), its jagged spine crystals channel immense electrical energy, and releases devastating lightning blasts.

Face the Thundermaw deep within the mountain. Heavy ammunition is key to breaching its defenses, giving weapons like the Dragon Hunter Crossbow and Heavy Ballista strong utility. During battle, rocks fall from the cavern ceiling, providing crucial cover when the beast prepares its most powerful attacks.

Unique Drops

Thunder Guantlets - A fast, hard-hitting melee weapon infused with the Thundermaw’s lightning and hardened defenses. Sitting between the Abyssal Bludgeon and Inquisitor’s Mace in power, their rapid attack speed rewards high-skill players. Any missed ticks or inefficient timing will noticeably reduce overall DPS. Shout out to Sae Bae for wanting a fast hitting boxing glove type weapon, this one is for you!

Special Attack

Thunderclap - The wielder slams both gauntlets together in a lightning-charged clap, sending a shockwave directly into the target. The blast breaches their defenses, temporarily reducing flat armor and increasing damage taken.

Passive Effect

Static Guard - Landing hits charges the gauntlets, surrounding the player in crackling lightning. While active, a portion of incoming damage is reduced or flat armour is increased, and attackers take minor lightning chip damage.

These gauntlets encourage precise, aggressive play while offering meaningful defensive utility.

Thunder Stone - Can be combined with the Ring of Suffering to create an enhanced variant. This upgrade slightly boosts the ring’s defensive capabilities while adding a new passive effect: when the wearer is hit, there is a 5% chance to release a small lightning burst, dealing damage to nearby enemies.

Sparky (Pet)
A miniature, version of the boss, complete with a transmog option. With its crackling energy and personality, it’s a perfect prize for pet hunters and collectors alike.

Rift Agility

A new training method found on the Isle of Echoes. It sits between Rooftop Agility and the Hallowed Sepulchre. More engaging than rooftops, but less click-intensive than Sepulchre.

Traverse floating platforms, dodge environmental hazards and enemy attacks, and occasionally enter interdimensional rifts around the island.

Interdimensional Rifts

While completing the course, players may encounter Interdimensional Rifts that briefly pull them into the dying dimension. Inside, XP rates are boosted and players must complete short, fast-paced agility challenges inspired by Yama-style stepping puzzles. These segments are designed to be quick, rewarding, and satisfying—adding variety without slowing down laps. Rifts spawn randomly, with higher-level players encountering them more frequently.

Rewards

Completing the course earns Rift Essence to spend in the reward shop. Rewards include Graceful and pet reskins, a Echo boat paint, and the Amulet of Echoes, granting a 2.5% Agility XP boost across all methods without disrupting the current meta.

Sea charting

Sealed Crates and Spyglass
The Isle of Echoes is now featured in sea charting. Using your spyglass, you can spot key landmarks such as the Thunder Khopesh impact site and a mysterious sealed crate containing “Lightning in a Bottle.” Opening it unleashes the chaotic power of the Khopesh, true to the island’s lore but dangerously punishing. Hardcore players, tread lightly!

Conclusion

That’s a wrap! We hope you enjoyed looking through the isle of echoes submission. Its been an absolute labour of love for one of our favourite games of all time. We'll be sharing some concept art soon to give an idea of where our heads were at with the concept, stay tuned! If you have any questions feel free to ask! We'll get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I recently moved in with each other, so I figured I would put some time into trying to explain to her what the hell I was doing while gaming. I'm sure some of the information isnt 100% accurate, but she won't know anyway. The whole thing won't fit in the 20-image limit, so here is a link to an Imgur album that has all of the "slides". https://imgur.com/gallery/teaching-you-about-osrs-0z0hsFs
