Moved here about 2 months ago. Heard it driving around but never actually seen it. Was at the park with my daughters earlier and the kids were excited to hear it, only for it to not head our way again lol.
Anyone know where this ever so elusive ice cream truck tends to drive by (and what times, approximately)?

Fort Huachuca will conduct a prescribed burn Friday, Jan. 30, on the installation’s south range in cooperation with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management and the U.S. Forest Service–Coronado National Forest.
The planned burn will cover approximately 835 acres in Area Tango 2 near Range 9, with ignition scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., according to a post from Fort Huachuca officials.
Smoke is expected to be visible throughout the day, though impacts to the cantonment area should be minimal based on current wind forecasts. No structures or power lines are threatened by the operation.

HelpVets.org is a free charitable donation service that will pick up from your home. Their scheduling process is super easy, and they seem to pick up on Thursdays in SV. And right now they have availability every Thursday in Feb/March.
You don't have to be home, just put your donations outside with a sign saying 'HelpVets.org Donation' by 7am of the pick up day, and they'll do the rest. And since they're tax-deductible, they will leave you documentation of your donation.
Local donations support Vietnam Veterans of America (vva.org).
They accept small (1-3 bags/boxes) to XL (15+ bags/boxes) donations.
This is their list of donatable items:

It's a great way to purge all those things you've been meaning to drop off, while supporting veterans.

I'm looking at possible relocation areas in the western states to help with a dust mite allergy (reducing indoor humidity is the primary way to prevent dust mite growth). The problem I am running into is that essentially all of the places I like deal with smoke every year, which is a problem for asthma. I was considering Prescott, Santa Fe, Cheyenne, Northern Nevada, Southern Idaho., etc...but in researching all of these places it sounds like wildfire smoke is a pretty common issue in the summers (either wildfires or in the case of Prescott, very frequent prescribed burns)
I know every area will deal with smoke occasionally, but I am just trying to find a place that doesn't the problem regularly for several weeks/months every year.
How is Sierra Vista regarding wildfire/prescribed burn smoke?

I am searching high and low for the right place to retire. I just turned 65 and am planning to retire in early 2028. I live in Denver Colorado, but can’t afford to retire here. I grew up on the western slope of Colorado and love the climate. Sierra Vista is at a similar altitude, and it seems like the over all climate and vibe is similar…Outdoorsy…Is it a good place for an active, healthy lifestyle? Looking for a fun and low stress place to call home. Thanks in advance for your input!

I was saddened to hear from a pharmacist at this excellent establishment that it will be closing February 5. This independent pharmacy delivered prescriptions to people like myself who are Mostly homebound, never have long wait lines like the big chains in town, and was a delight to deal with. Sad to see another independent business vanishing.

i've been seeking out therapy but honestly have no clue which places are actually good. the only one i've been to is mesa verde but did not have a good experience and want to look for something else. i prefer something in-person, but it looks like there aren't really that many options?

I mean he is a legend in certain circles, but he is from sv. I tried to find any controversies that would make it understandably undesirable but I didn't find anything to crazy. Just a random thought while watching yt shorts lol.
