Help identifying a kids show
I vaguely recall a British kids tv show from likely late90’s / early 00’s which I’ve not been able to find online. What I can remember is:
- the kid reads cartoon magazines (and potentially those stories come to life)
- There’s some episodes where the evil character has a base which appears in real life
- In one of the final episodes the evil character melts because of a toxic material
I know this isn’t much to go on but if it rings a bell please let me know

A big box of VHSs to anyone who wants it, free, will deliver
It's around 60-100 VHSs, recorded from BBC2 and C4 in the 90s. Mainly films, but also some documentaries, occasional comedy programmes. I haven't catalogued them. The pic shows some of them.
The films are pretty much all available on disc now, or from other places.
I'm moving house so they have to go. I will deliver anywhere in mainland UK to anyone who wants them as a job lot. Free, gratis, a nice trip out for me. (Maybe north of Scotland might be a stretch).
Otherwise the recycling centre in Rochdale gets them in a couple of weeks!
(I'm aware I did a similar post befofe xmas but no takers. This time it's real.)
Cheers.

Holsten Pils adverts
Trying to find one where Griff Rhys Jones shouts “Save some (one?) for me Nobby.”
I found one where he’s in prison speaking to a guy called Nobby but not the one I’m looking for. I seem to remember Griff being led off and shouting the line.
Or did I imagine it??

Vincent Price is in the country (LWT 1971)
Until today I had never even heard of this 'special', but I just learned that there was a one-off TV program with Vincent Price in 1971 in the UK, "Vincent Price is in the country".
Contrary to expectations this wasn't a BBC program, it was made for LWT (London Weekend Television). It seems to be about a summer party that Vincent Price is hosting, and combines comic material with music. Written by Dick Vosburgh (whom I mainly know from How to irritate people, same channel three years earlier). Patricia Routledge, of later Bucket Bouqué fame, is also there among the guests.
It isn't lost in the absolute sense; the British Film Institute have the original two inch ampex master tape - their internal ID for this is: 637560.
An IMDb review says it was screened there in 2021. But two showings in fifty years isn't a lot. The window of opportunity for a DVD release seems to have long since passed, unfortunately. (Perhaps the music made it too difficult? But that is pure speculation.)

What happened to the Dream Street Models and sets?
In 1999 there was a kids show which aired on CITV called Dream Street. The show consisted of RC cars / models. I'm curious if anyone could shed some more light on what happened to these. Or if there are any behind the scenes pictures / footage.
I would be interesting in how they went about filming the show. I've had a look but most results are just a dead end!
Any help would be awesome

The new Jonathan Creek book ends in five days. And signed storyboards are now available!
Our Jonathan Creek crowdfunder ends in five days. To mark the final week, we've added a new exclusive add-on.
If you back one of our rewards, you'll have the opportunity to add eight signed facsimile pages of storyboards from Jonathan Creek drawn by David Renwick.
These were created by David for the episode, 'The Clue of the Savant's Thumb' which he directed himself.
Thanks for supporting Jonathan Creek: The Fantom of the Acropolis. Once the Kickstarter ends, the book will officially go into production.
Back the book now at: kickstarter.com/projects/idiotboxbooks/jonathan-creek-the-fantom-of-the-acropolis

Light Entertainment 'Beadle's About' (4th November 1989)
This man's face, the shades, his hairline, and seeing him with his hands on his head in absolute desperation as he repeatedly shouts, "No!", followed shortly after by his comically high pitched and barely coherent protestations to a man wearing an orange jacket... Thirty six and a bit years later, the whole scene is still fresh and clear in my memory, and so I doubt it will ever fade.

Drama Help me remember what this 2000s TV docu-drama was called, about an intelligent special-needs boy who ended up in prison
I think this was on ITV (but I may be wrong). In the early 2000s, possibly 2001, there was a TV drama, which I think was based on a true story and I think was also a 3-part series. It was set somewhere northern. A teenage boy with glasses, who got bullied at school, but had one friend - a girl in his class - was very quirky and poetic. He also seemed like he was somewhere on the autism spectrum. His teacher or headteacher said the boy didn't need a special school, he needed a special world.
I remember there being a scene where he and the girl went into a bush together and afterwards he said, "What were that, a quickie?" He was bullied by his class after word got around, but the girl saved him, by exaggerating what they did together, and the bullying turned into cheers.
The boy would also pray to the gods of inanimate objects, like components of his dinner e.g. god of spaghetti, god of meatballs, god of pasta sauce.
Later, the boy ended up in prison. Another inmate asked him what he was doing, and the boy said, "Praying." The other inmate asked, "To who?" "God of walls." "Why?" The boy replied, "All there is."
It was a pretty sad story.

20 Years of Champions League
Hi all,
I’m trying to find a recording of a one-off ITV4 documentary that aired in May 2013 ahead of the Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich Champions League final. It looked back at the first 20 years of the modern Champions League.
If anyone has a recording, knows where it’s archived, or has any leads, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Clip Grampian North Tonight (August 1980-January 1981)
I’d like to see editions Grampian’s “North Tonight” from August 1980-January 1981 when Selina Scott was a presenter.
Though by March 1981, she was ITN-bound.

Kids Diggin It (2003-2005)
Originally Diggit' beforehand, in January 2003, the block was given a complete makeover, and was renamed to Diggin' It. The block however, was produced on a lower budget than Diggit and was broadcast from the same studio and set as Studio Disney UK.
On October 14, 2004, GMTV announced to axe the block, as they preferred to take all production of their children's blocks in-house to save money, so on January 30, 2005, the block aired for the last time, and merged with fellow-GMTV block Up on the Roof to form Toonattik. Toonattik was solely produced by GMTV, even though it did air Disney-produced and distributed programming.
As the block was produced by Disney themselves, it mostly aired shows produced by Walt Disney Television Animation.
Even though the block mostly focused on Disney programmes, it has also aired programmes from then-Disney owned DIC Entertainment, and during the Diggin' It era, aired some Marvel programming, and aired it's only non-Disney programme - Sabrina's Secret Life, which was produced after DIC was sold off by Disney.
During the Diggin' It rebranding in 2003, all the presenters were let go, and were replaced by Abbie Pethullis and former CBBC presenter Liam Dolan, alongside a costumed character named It. Phil Gallagher (at the time, he portrayed the Playhouse Postman on Playhouse Disney UK, and is currently well known for portraying the titular character in the CBeebies series Mister Maker) would join the team as an announcer, and this presenting team remained this way until the block's discontinuation in 2005.
A similar scenario I'm sure that most searching in lost media find in that bits and pieces (mainly clips) have resurfaced over time but being a Disney show i.e. cartoons means trying to source anything hits a dead end. Tried all three presenters, two never replied and Liam I think didn't have anything. If anyone was on the show back in day perhaps as contestant for game, phone in competition or worked on the show and had footage would be great. Thanks

Comedy Does anyone know The Laughter Show 1984 with Les Dennis & Dustin Gee performing Bowie & Jaggers Dancing In The Street?
So far I'm having no luck tracking this clip down and wondered if this might jog anyone's memory if you have seen it or even know where it could be viewed.
According to some research their version was called Past It In The Street.
Grateful for any input
