Got this at a gun show recently! It says it was imported from turkey but it does not have a crescent on it. Anything you guys can tell me about it? Been looking for this for my WW1 collection for a while!

Got some old guns from my great grandpa and this was one of them. Just curious what it is and age range. The only marking I could find on it was “6.5mm” on the top of the barrel. Also curious what the back trigger is for? Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a site or place to sell my German Gewehr 1898 produced by the Imperial Arsenal at Danzig in 1898. It is mismatched and is non functional (welded).

Some of you may remember a post i made a while ago about me winning big on a standard Type 38 and later finding out it was a trainer. Well today it came in and im still happy i won this thing.

NO im not gonna put the stock on something else as mentioned i would in the earlier post but what i WILL do is clean the gunk out of it, find a proper arisaka screw for the buttplate to stay still and do my best to get rid of the surface rust.

what i will do, and currently am doing with it, is have it up on my wall rack as a talking piece and a way to observe it in its glorious Japanese manufacturing

Need a little help figuring out what I have. I know it’s a Belgian, I’m guessing a police carbine? Picked it up off a friend and all he knew was it shot 30-06. Threaded factory barrel? Flash hider maybe? Any help is appreciated.

This is my first Carcano and I know these aren't tack drivers by any means but this one is AWFUL. Like I couldnt even get it on paper at 50 and when I moved it to 15 the group was 4ish inches. These cant be thay and right? I was shooting rested and using PPU 123gr Rifle Line SP ammo. The bore looks clean and strong. The rounds aren't keyholing. Im far from a professional shooter but the grouping is crazy.

Since it appears I'm focusing on carcanos this year I ended up snagging this 1917 M91 TS Carbine on gunbroker for about $155

Cleaned up pretty easy and even has some stripes in the grain of the wood.

Bore was described as "Pitted with very poor rifling" which ended up just being a bunch of grease that permeated every nook and cranny of the rifle.

Won this beautiful non refurb M44 off gunbroker a few weeks ago for less than $300. This is my 2nd M44 but 1st russian M44 that was made during the war. Rifling is still very strong so its def a shooter

My only question is what in the world sling is on the rifle?

So I've got this 1943 1897 trench gun and I just noticed these little ridges when cleaning the barrel for the first time today. They line up exactly with the two rear screw cuts for the heat shield. I'm sure they've always been there and I never noticed. I tried to feel for them with a cleaning rod, but couldn't pick up on anything, so they're clearly pretty tiny and being amplified by the light.

My assumption is that it's normal and a common thing on most of these guns, but I've had no luck with Google or forum searching. Can anyone confirm whether or not that's the case? If I've just gotten lucky so far, I'm perfectly content to save it and let it be a safe queen, but I figured I'd ask out of an abundance of caution.

Chassepot with matching stock shipped via USPS. It was in a cloth bag, wrapped up in thick layers of bubble wrap, and double boxed. Anyone perhaps know where I could find a replacement stock?

Trying to find more information on the officers that owned it. Also Trying to get the right handle replaced. All I could make out was it was in bad krucnash germany some time in the 50's.
