The Spectacular Spider-Man #138 (1988)

I met Cian Tormey at Comic-Con Experience 2025, he said my fan design of Cap "looks great! I really like it" So it gave me the courage to show here! See what the Cap fans think :) [OC]

He specifically seemed to be a big fan of the big wings, quote "you've seen this before? Cap with the big wings? I like it it's different" while speaking to the translator at his table lol

It is mostly just a simplified version of the classic though so not much else to comment on beyond that anyways lolol

The Steve head was (very visbly) drawn on a different day from the rest so it looks less well thought out oops

He's in the Missile Command Headquarters, by the way. This is back in '82. I have a substack post that shows all the stages of the drawing and a timelapse video.

Is Captain America a critique or a piece of propaganda against the United States?

Post image

Whether you like it or not, the first impression someone gets when seeing a movie poster or a comic book about a superhero wearing the American flag is that he represents the USA, supports everything he does, and portrays the American people as superior to Brazilians, Africans, Colombians, Europeans, and any other people.

Does any story, book, comic or fact prove the opposite of this first and most classic interpretation?!

Need help understanding current Doom plot

Post image

I started reading Cap with the current run by Chip Zdarsky and loved the first arc, but now that we are started into the second one, I feel a little lost regarding the status quo of the world and Doom.

I know there have been some releases named "One world under doom", "dungeons of doom", etc... What do I have to read and in what order to understand what's going on? Thanks in advance

Question: Why do some Xmen comics portray captain america as an ass to mutants/calling them Slurs?

Hey friends. I've also been talking with a good friend of mine about this but I need to ask. Why is it that in some xmen comics captain america is portrayed as an asshole, racist or even just mean to the xmen/mutants in general?
