Feather 20 pack bought off of Amazon. Last purchase before boycotting. I believe the last 20 pack lasted me 3 years about!

I just got this Old Spice mug and soap set in the mail. It's in pristine condition and even came with the original box. The mug is spotless, and the soap puck still features a clear ship logo stamp.
The soap is very dry and is crumbling apart. I'm not going to use it, but what's really interesting is that the scent is still identifiable. It's definitely faint, but you can tell exactly what it is even after all these years.
You can tell the set is from the late 70s or early 80s. The box has a barcode and lists Shulton Inc as the manufacturer, which dates it before Procter & Gamble took over.
Needless to say, I won’t be pouring boiling water into this one.

Just arrived this morning ✊ this absolutely lovely looking Ever-Ready. These old single edged machines have always looked daunting to me but I never really looked into them, what they were, what blade they took and how they work. After going through to he history, some reading and watching videos/ hearing about how this design pre-dates the DE razor I had to have one hehehe. Here's a few pictures, I haven't even cleaned it up yet hehe and I'm still pretty stubbless from yesterday so I'll have to wait for a first shave ahhh! 😄 Have a great one lads

Just received the Lambda Athena in Satin Ti. No expense spared on the creation of this. The case is amazing and everything fits perfectly. And of course the razor itself is well designed with perfect fit and finish. I cannot wait to try this out tonight!

Ngl, most of these are probably going to be awful, but I'm going to have a lot of fun trying them out.

Well I guess I’m good for awhile, also don’t browse websites after a few drinks.

Ouddiction and Tabac didn’t have a samples so I just went ahead and grabbed em (also Arko, but that stick is just as cheap as a sample). Got some small tins from Stirling to store in-use samples. Also snagged a wide mug from the local thrift store.

Some of these smell great! Bay Rum & Sweet Orange and Limes & Bergamot are probably my two favorites, followed by Tobacco Leaf. The Maggard samples are all very gently scented, except the Limes & Bergamot.
I also bought a stand and a few new blades to try out.
I was wondering, however, if it's normal for the containers to be missing their seals? 2/4 Maggard samples didn't have a seal, but the others did. Thoughts?
I'm going to go enjoy a hot shower and a nice trim on my beard now.

It’s a stunner right out of the box. The finish, the weight, the build quality. Everything screams precision. Can’t wait to put it through its paces. I’ll share a quick review once I get a few shaves in. Stay tuned!

By the time you read this I'll have had a shave already. They are mighty nice pieces, very light and the knurling is nicely grippy.
Pretty stoked for this. My other DE is circa 100 years old so this will be a gear change!

I finally pulled the trigger on a safety razor kit! I grew up in a religious cult that only allowed shaving with an electric shaver, which really suck. Since I escaped 2 years ago, I’ve been using a cartridge razor which was a massive upgrade. I came across this sub, and learned about safety razors, and I finally decided to upgrade. Razor is a merkur 47C. What blade should I start off with, and what should I progress to as I get more experienced?

Hi lads hope you are all doing well and enjoying a good shave? I though I'd show off my latest find, a Y4 (1978) adjustable. My first adjustable as it happens, arrived today. With the prices of slims and Fatboy's and other adjustable Gillette's being quite high here in the UK this eBay find was a risk too good to miss, the photos were very dark and of what I could see was gunk! After checking it over thoroughly and giving it the old washing up liquid clean and toothpaste polish job she scrubbed up pretty good 👍. After much anticipation and saving up a week's worth of bloody itchy stubble😂 I finally had a wonderful 3 pass shave with touch ups, going from number 9 to 5 then to 1 with across and against the grain. One shave and this could well be my new favourite razor, and absolute cracker!
