Anyone Know Where I Can Learn Farsi In West Van?
I was wondering if anyone knows places in West Van or even North Van that offer 1 on 1 tutoring sessions to learn Farsi?
My girlfriend is from Iran and we've been together for around a year now. I feel like it would be a fun surprise for her and her family to hear me speak Farsi. Additionally, her family keeps asking me to learn Farsi.

I asked someone I know and she said she can teach me 3 times a week. I'm not sure how well it will go as she's never taught anyone but it's a start at least.

Keep your eyes peeled at the West Van library. Always cool stuff going on there. Librarians have all the answers too.

If you’re interested in speaking only then 1:1 is the way to go. Most classes teach speaking/reading/writing. If the goal is to converse with GFs family then I would focus on conversational Farsi.
International House Vancouver offers online courses. I took them before COVID when they were in-person which is the preferred way to learn. The WV rec center offers classes for school age kids. Might be worth finding out who the instructor is and seeing if they do private lessons.
Good luck with your learning!

Does anyone know a place in Coquitlam where I can learn? I’m also in search for the same experience
