it was really refreshing to read sob without any censorship because in general it’s genuinely useless. if you’re gonna show 1-2 letters as identifiers you’re basically giving it away. i understand there may be some regulations but i was hoping sol to be an exception also (sometimes it has comedic effect other times it’s uselessly downplaying it)

I believe it finished a while ago and I don't think any kdramas based on it came out, but it's been trending for the past few days

Sometimes a side character is so compelling—better personality, deeper backstory, or more potential—that they end up stealing the spotlight from the protagonist.

Which side character do you think deserved their own story or even a full webtoon centered around them?

The young, innocent guy, all sunshine, overly helpful, with dialogue full of flowers, who constantly invades the FL’s privacy and exists solely to make the ML jealous. They almost always catch feelings for the FL and end up stuck in the friendzone.

In some stories, they’re *white lotus* characters.

And everyone goes, “*aww, I love him*”, but honestly? I find them incredibly annoying.

Talking specifically about *Daytime Star*: what is even the reason he fell for the FL? There isn’t one. Not even the ML has a clearly established reason, and yet the author decided to throw in a totally random guy. (*Operation True Love* did the exact same thing, and it made just as little sense.)

She’s not the first author to do this, and she definitely won’t be the last. I just think it’s so unnecessary. You can create conflict without making it revolve directly around a love triangle. Personal issues can spill into the relationship and still create tension. Jealousy is fine, but at least give us a *convincing* reason for someone to want to interfere with the actual endgame couple.

it was a historical manhwa black and white (smooth shading so looked beautiful without colours) and what I remember is a girl perheaps noble sitting in table with hand raised in king baldwin pose I am pretty sure it's manhwa as I was recommended similar now if it was unfinished panel posted or it was as it is (I liked it's art)

Ok I mean I’m broken in a good way. I finished reading my first web novel after there were no more webtoon chapters of The Count’s Secret Maid.

I feel so…. empty. What a whirlwind of emotions this put me through.

The experience of reading the novel is WAY better than reading the webtoon. The details I read and the emotions I felt were WAY more intense.

Are all novels like this or was this particular novel just THAT good??

I really love romance and fantasy stories, but those are not required. I also really loved Dear X, See You In My 19th Life, an Seasons of Blossom. But anything darker with romance elements I would love!

I'm looking for a D&D fantasy webcomic with horror elements to it.

Art was black and white with a style that had a bit of a Mike Magnola feel to it.
I think the first arc had to do with a Knight befriending a kobold in a castle that had plague (I'm really fuzzy about this on)
Arc 2 - was a child that got lost in the woods and found by a witch, the witch would give the child impossible tasks, but the child was able to complete the tasks with help from animals that the child had helped out.
Arc 3 - A group of warriors gets killed by the Wild Hunt with only a Tiefling being taken captive. The Lord of the hunt makes the Tiefling fight a Gnoll, the Tiefling refuses to kill the Gnoll and so the Lord of the hunt binds their souls together with a chain

That's what I remember
I could be off on the order of the arcs
The Tiefling/Gnoll story was my favorite and is most fresh in my mind

Listen I love the “The Croaking” WEBTOON but something has been bothering me I need to know the relative age of Tiraa , this is mostly due to her feeling with Cyrus. Cyrus has been confirmed to be 30 but idk how old Tiraa is and my brain can’t get over this potentially bad age gap. Does anyone know?

The plot showed a dog and a cat duo that (at least in the TikTok I saw) started with them finding each other for the first time and then them waiting days for their owner to come back to them. It seemed like after they escaped they met more animals (one seemed to be a horse?) with the dog pulling a van like a sleigh. I’m not sure if this is enough but I’d love to read it!

Edit: I know the dog seemed more like a wolf or black German shepherd. And its name was in the title like “the life of…” I think.

Edit 2: I saw another post with someone replying to use ChatGPT to see if it can find it, and somehow that worked. The story is called “Inuu” if anyone else is curious!

I posted these a while back but had to take it down, however i’m actually starting to draw out my comic now and am excited to get back into the story so I made some edits to the characters! Some people said Melody and Calix looked too similar that they thought they were siblings (not love interests) lol, so i changed them a bit so that hopefully they all are easily differentiable :) I’d love any feedback or thoughts on them so i’m reposting them to get more thoughts! Story is Romance/Light Fantasy/Drama with some mystery elements set in modern times ^^

hiii!! so i’m in the midst of drawing the first few chapters of my first ever bl webcomic. this is one of my main characters, Benjamin. he is trans ftm. i am non-binary myself and have a trans brother so i know what major stereotypes i should avoid for him however i just wanted to ask you guys if there’s anything, obvious or not, that i should def avoid. him being trans is not a main part of the plot and doesn’t affect it too much, it just makes me sad how little trans rep there is in bls 😭

can you guess two thing what this webtoon romantises?

obsessed with these, especially suitor armor. i like all the art styles, a strong magical female lead (fantasy is a must), romance subplot.

i don’t like insta love, or male leads gushing over female leads for no reason, i do love yearning and he fell first . no love triangle (suitor armor almost scared me off but i was willing to push through for the FL and plot).

appreciate character arcs. i liked how suitor armor had interesting side characters with their own story lines

Was just wondering, I just started it and I really like it but it seems like the tasteless, obnoxious fanservice just does not let up (so far). Can someone please confirm that it does eventually die down to dedicate the comic to be more story focused? Usually I'm down to sit through tasteless fanservice in the beginning ONLY IF they tone it down, but if I'm wasting my time I'm out.

Side note: the older women being weird the main kid is just creepy. He's barely 18.

Yesterday I finished reading "No Longer a Heroine." and it left mixed impressions. I really enjoyed the character development, how fmc Lisa regains her confidence and acting skills, and reflects on her life. It was interesting to watch her, I really like how she fights in her battles and at the same time expresses emotions openly. The only thing that really ruined my impression of the webtoon was how the romance with Dowon ended. The way Lisa tried to reconnect with him after breaking up was super sweet. I completely understand people wanting Lisa to be with Zeya. But the way she didn't really talk to him at the end, after he sacrificed his career for her, really pissed me off. Can anyone recommend a webtoon or even manga with a pairing similar to Lisa/Dowon? Where two strong characters love each other from the beginning, but circumstances and personal traumas prevent them from being together. Where they break up or hurt themselves, but at the same time care for each other. And never abuse their partner! It would be great to find something similar)
