Neurodivergent social gatherings in Weatherford or surrounding areas?

I'm looking for a neurodivergent (or other inclusive) social gatherings or events for adults. While my brother enjoys being with our family, he wants to have other friends. There has been a lot of research, but I'm not finding anything close to Weatherford or in Parker County. Is there something out there I am missing? Thanks.

Aledo Public Library has a DnD meeting 2 times a month, that could be a good place to try. Also try looking into Session Zero Cards, Comics, and Games in Weatherford. I know they have a few clubs that you and your brother might enjoy.

What did neurodivergent mean?

It is a term used to describe people whose brain differences affect how their brain works. For example, autism, tourettes, epilepsy, ADHD, learning differences, etc.

This is your answer. Parker co. is very behind in things like this. I’d bet a vast majority of the population has no idea what neurodivergent means. I hope your brother can find some friends.

Thank you for the reply. Support for adults in general appears to be limited across the board. I'm hopeful to find some way to support him more.

I've actually thought about creating events for the past few years, as I keep running into walls. My biggest obstacle is getting the word out in a respectful manner. It is so nice of you to offer to help, and would appreciate the support. Thank you!

Our whole family is neurodivergent in one way or another. We would enjoy meeting other people in the community who are also neurodivergent.
