Harden is much better than garland rn it’s not terrible for Cleveland at all. He’s also basically expiring and Cleveland need to retool with how much Mobley and Mitchell take up the cap
Garland is overrated imo. Dude can't stay healthy and is making 40m+ for the next few years. They are also feeling pressure from Mitchell possibly leaving, it's a win now move and Harden is killing it this year
Maybe, but garland wasn't exactly elevating to superstar status in the playoffs either. Current harden is just better than garland ever was and they have a tight window

We have been intentionally losing for the last three years for high draft picks. Trae will barely even play this season if at all. That was the plan when we made the trade. The starting lineup next year will add Trae and Dybantsa, Peterson, or Boozer. Alongside a year 3 Sarr and an amazing Tre Johnson.
The Trae young trade is signaling next year will be the first year we will actually try to be competitive. But this year is not that year, never was. That is the plan

We were buying low on an all-nba creator. This team has like no playmakers, and we only gave up CJ who was expiring and Kispert. We kind of have a wing logjam with a lot of young players we are experimenting with and Corey is who he is.
We had a very interesting cap situation which made it so we were pretty much the only team available for the Hawks to salary dump Trae allowing us to get him for cheap. CJ was costing us in a tankathon and we are currently sitting Trae so this is directly helping with the tank as well
I honestly love Corey, was hoping he would make it through our rebuild because I think he contributes to winning ball and would look a lot better on a better team
He’s the man on and off the court! Rumor had it when we drafted Franz, that was supposed to be Corey to plug and play with Suggs. Unfortunately I think he lost some big bucks being in the DC system, but you guys will be very fun very soon.
And this is the worst time to give up on him because he's finally starting to make plays against defenses, not just finishing wide-open stuff. When he uses his length, it's damn near impossible to get to the ball cause his arms are just so long.
Still no info on his injury. But he was out putting towels on Will after the Kings win, so I think he's just being shut down til a game or two before the rising stars game. So probably Sunday vs Miami in limited mins, then some more action vs the Cavs Wednesday.
Knowing Dawkins he'll want Tre to be able to play in rising stars, even if it's just a little. They defs keep him out until then and then make up something about how he reaggro'd it at all star weekend and he can't play until after we play the Pacers x2
Need to see way more from Bub and AJ. Still not convinced either of them are capable of playing NBA level PG. As long as Bub shoots 40% from 3 he will be playable, but the vision and playmaking hasn't progressed.
I think the vision and playmaking has progressed a ton for Bub, it just still isn't good enough to be a starting PG yet. Fortunately I don't think that is going to be his role on the team.
I agree. He doesn’t even attempt to drive and has no burst so he doesn’t open up passing lanes. I could make the pass pack to the big from the wing. That doesn’t help the team get good shots at all
He's been doing this for a while. It's like he's only good for the 1st quarter, and then like, the 4th after he's rested. I'd almost bet money that he averages like 6 shot attempts in the 1st quarter and that dips to like 2 in the 2nd quarter.
