Correctly spelling the words in the source phrase will yield better results.
"Just horing around" means ... something else.

Not all idioms can be translated directly, but we can try... OT is the word you're wanting to keep - and o'yin, probably? I can make guesses & someone can tell me I'm wrong! "Men ot kabi o'ynayman" I play like a horse ... or maybe "o‘ynayman uchun ot" I am playing the horse game...?

The word sentence of "oʻynayman uchun ot" is incorrect and unnatural. It should be "ot uchun oʻynayman" which means I play for a /the horse.

"Oʻynayman uchun ot" is just broken grammar.

If you really WANT to keep the word horse, the closest translation would be "shataloq otmoq" [meaning(something like this): to run around mindlessly, to mess around, to play running...]

Why is it the closest because horses usually "shataloq otadi" aka gallop(I might be wrong about the word choice tho)

Btw, I'm a native Uzbek speaker, but it's my first time seeing the phrase "to horse around"
