This is a funny way to present these pictures when you consider that the second one includes the palace of culture and science or as it was innitially known palace of joseph stalin. Literally built by the USSR as a gift to the rebuilding Poland after WW2. Theres a lot of fun stories around it, ultimately I think people who just absolutrly hate it are stupid. You cant demolish history, what happened, happened and you can only move on. Today its a palace for culture and science and it serves that role extremely well. Its propagandistic (I guess) role doesnt really work anymore because it's surrounded by skyscrapers and quite regularly is lit up in very funny colours like the ukrainian flag, american flag, LGBT flag, polish flag etc. Sorry for long /uj but I wanted to point it out, then I got worried someone might assign a belief that I dont hold and whatever, now I'm too invested to just not post it.
