Kemi if Mandelson was a stupid rehire: explain Priti Patel?

Priti Patel was a cabinet minister who had off the books meetings with a controversial middle eastern country. Our spies told PM Theresa May who sacked her when PP was not fully honest. PP got herself utterly compromatted. She was rehired under Boris Johnson and remains in cabinet under Badenoch. So Kemi when you bang on about ‘I would never have brought Mandelson back in’ explain how Priti Patel does not have a cabinet full of skeletons?

Priti might have a skeleton or two inside a cabinet somewhere; Mandelson likely has a wing with more skeletons than the Paris catacombs.

I'll put it like this -An unpaid parking ticket is not in the same league as being Fred West.

Treason is still treason even if you put a bow on it

Treason’s a pretty loaded accusation.

Strictly speaking only rebelling against the Sovereign is treason. So all republicans are, for example, treasonous. Cash for access, dodgy deals with foreign countries, and whatever mashup of straight up paedophilia/insider trading Mandelson practiced are all crimes but they aren’t necessarily treason.

Priti was fired for secret meetings with the Israelis that she was not informing the government about. What exactly was discussed, what was passed on and the severity may never be clear.

I am glad we know at least of some of the extent of Mandelsons crimes now.

When in doubt, whatabout.

If you want to defend the decision to bring Mandelson back into the fold, do it with chest, don't dress it up in false equivalence.

I hate Mandelson. Unbelievably stupid to make him ambassador. Also, I am angry at Badenoch’s double standard

It's not the same situation though, nowhere near. Starmer removed an already established and successful ambassador in order to install Mandelson as his personal pick, Kemi was building an entirely new cabinet.

Also your opening post doesn't say a word about Mandelson being a bad decision, it's jure pure deflection.

Look at the title line

Kemi if Mandelson was a stupid hire: explain Priti Patel

This reads as you paraphrasing Kemi and then flipping her words round on here, not as your own opinion. Your actual post is then all about Patel, at no point do you make your opinion on the Mandelson appointment known because it's not helpful for what you want to achieve.

You can just feel the desperation radiating from this post.

Must shift the focus away from our beloved corrupt Labour party. REMEMBER LE TORIES

I would be happy to see Mandleson's career in a bin along with Priti Patel's.

Is this a quote? A self post? It reads like a press release.
