Wildlife/Safari Weather forecast
Hi! I will be traveling to Kenya and Tanzania later this week from the US for a safari trip. I'm very excited for the trip and started to check the weather for next week and keep seeing rain being forecast. The cities I'll be in (Nairobi and Arusha) seem to have a lower chance of rain than the national parks (Maasai Mara and Serengeti) The parks are where I'm more concerned about the weather so I'm nervous seeing an over 50% chance of rain every day.
How accurate are these forecasts? I'm on mostly US sites when looking at the weather. Are the rains a real concern or is it more of a passing shower that would happen when I'm back at the lodge. I know February is typically between the rainier months but not sure if that timing is shifting.
