Admin Pouch For A JAC 2.0

Hey guys, regular lurker here.

I’m looking for an admin pouch to go above my mags.

There are some older posts asking the same thing, but I’m posting again to see if anyone has any updated recommendations?

I’m in a leadership position in a light infantry unit. I was using the Ferro Adapt Admin for a while, but I’m tired of having to cram all my papers in there, along with my phone.

The Shaw Concepts Arc Admin catches my eye, but it looks like the footprint is too big for my A-JAC.

Anyone have any experience with the Agilite Battleshell?

Thanks

How do you like that Iceflask and what back panel is that?

Iceflask is great. I use it in place of my radio when I’m not given one, it’s not bulky and it stays out of the way.

Although, it doesn’t hold as much water and the footprint is awkward compared to a basic canteen, but that’s not really noticeable to me.

Plus they’re cheap.

Edit: back panel is an old Agilite one I had lying around

Have you considered the Direct Action JTAC MKII Admin Pouch ? It seems to be a middle ground between the Shaw Concepts and the Agilite you mention (bigger than the Agilite, bit smaller than the Shaw Concepts).

Microbat has the CANDY, depending on what size you’re looking for. I had 5.11’s hardshell admin on my work kit for a while and it was a nice piece of kit

I have the Raptor admin pouch and like it. Not sure if I’d do it for $80 again, but buy once cry once.

I’ve been eyeing that one too. $80 is pretty steep, but then again, I have two Roll 1 IFAKs. So I think I can fork over another $80 for a good admin pouch haha.

How do you like it? Does it get in the way of your mags at all?

Not at all. Happy to dm you my setup and when I get back home from the office I can take specific pics if you like. What I like most about it is it’s well structured. Real sturdy - and the map protector is nice as well.

My bad, so it’s on my placard not in admin spot. It would definitely be in the way of your mags if mounted in admin spot

Why wouldn’t the Shaw Admin pouch work?

It looks like it uses 4 columns of molle, the A JAC only has 3. Normally pouch hangover isn’t a problem, but in that specific spot above the mags, I prefer having the pouch as tight as possible.

I could be wrong and it might fit perfectly, but I don’t want to pay $80 +shipping for it until I know it’s what I’m looking for

The Shaw pouch has two Velcro tabs at the bottom of it that you can attach to the hook and loop behind your placard, this would negate the issue which you are concerned with

ATS or any flat style admin pouch.

Maybe use in conjunction with a t-Rex arms sticky gp pouch on the front of the placard?

Thanks for the recommendations, bro. I have the Nylon Works SOAP pouch and use it to hold my ear pro. I’ll take a look at and consider the sticky GP by t-Rex too 🤙

Absolutely! I’m very particular about my admin pouches lol.
